It's not a popularity contest. It's about even handed enforcement of the rules vs abuse of power.
Rooks clearly broke the rules and he should get a 24 hour temp suspension.

First offense is a warning, and I handed the reports off to the other mods. I edited the offending post, the slur in which was an honest mistake, and apologized. Flavin, however, is well past the warning phase. He's actually at "take a vacation for a week", but I decided that was too harsh, so it ended up being a 12 hour topic ban.
Anyway, this isn't productive and it's crapping up the thread for other people. Have more concerns, take it to PMs.

Maybe the version on cable is the only one that's been watched by all the people who glorify that movie and Tony Montana. Maybe they've got a drastically altered idea of what actually happened because...censorship.
