It's pretty fun when you have fun people to play with! A good portion of LoL players are kind of ***. Just a word of caution.
Have you played some RTS games before? Basically, it's kind of like capture the flag. In games you have ranged/support on bottom, mage/ranged center, tank top and someone doing the dirty work/sneak-attacking in the jungle.
EDIT: Most rounds are only thirty minutes to forty-five minutes long. It's nice for popping in.
