After the whippings I took as a first year teacher, I still want the best for those kids; even the biggest issue students I have.

I've reached several. I have one kid who sees me at lunch every day and talks to me about the Divine Comedy. I have another who told me that she's started reading Shakespearean plays in her free time. I have another who told me his favorite book was Hamlet. Still another comes to see me when she has issues at home and needs someone to talk to. I had one girl who told me that she trusted me more than her own parents.
I've reached some of them, and they'll be the ones I'll remember and miss from this year.

I can understand the frustration, trust me.
But do you really, truly want to teach? Because even if you go to charter schools, or the best school in the world with the smartest students ever, you are still going to have some of the same kinds of problems.
And there probably won't be a place in the world that will give you a sufficient budget for everything you might consider necessary.
So what is it that you really want?

It will get easier. I'm not experienced, yet. I'm far from it. Right now it seems like the deck is stacked heavily against me, but all I can do is soldier onward, something I've chosen to continually do. So yes, I really want to teach again. And next year will be better. The following year will be better than that and so on. One day I'll be the teacher I'm aspiring to be. For now, I'm just grinding out the XP.

it is a beautiful virtual thing, I don't think anyone would argue it isn't. My main beef is 'instanced' everything.
