WHY CAN'T I QUIT YOU!?!?!?!
At some point in the past month I've gone from "occasionally enjoying coffee" to "needing caffeine pumped into my body every morning in order to stay on the proper side of criminal homicide laws".
I actually paid for crappy coffee at work today because I was running late and didn't have time to make any at home or stop for coffee/energy drink. What the actual ***? Life sucks, doesn't it Ramy?
I haven't started drinking coffee again (don't like the stuff) but this week I've considered it. Been a real long week. Jetackuu said: » Life sucks, doesn't it Ramy? No. No it doesn't. I've got it pretty good. That said, my brain doesn't always process that correctly and likes to get angry about a lot of inconsequential things in a disproportionate fashion. If I could get that in order, some other stuff would probably fall into place too. Meh. I know exactly what you mean. My friend was getting pissed off at his job for pointless ***again, I stopped short of telling him to grow the *** up.
He was basically bitching about another guy at his work having a higher title than him, because he just trained him. While ignoring (even though stated) it was because he worked there before and had that title when he left. Just some of the ***that he *** about is ridiculous. I mean at least when he was bitching about working a holiday it was at least half right to *** about. In my case most of my gripes are legit.
It's just my responses are generally disproportionate to the level of the offense. Eh. Life goes on. I'm learning to mellow out some. Ramyrez said: » No. No it doesn't. I've got it pretty good. And as soon as I say this things come along that remind me I've got it pretty good, but there are still bumps in the road. *stress* Ramyrez said: » At some point in the past month I've gone from "occasionally enjoying coffee" to "needing caffeine pumped into my body every morning in order to stay on the proper side of criminal homicide laws". I expect that once the holidays pass and I can have an actual holiday over which to relax (New Year's), things will level out for me a bit more. In the mean time I'm just taking it one day at a time. As it is I had originally planned for a full week off at Thanksgiving complete with relaxation and whatnot and instead ended up taking off MORE than a week due to a death in the family, traveling, and generally being unsettled for 10 days straight, which was the exact opposite of what I needed. So I've been a bit edgy. Four days left until winter break, and the next two are going to be hellish.
They're half days, and only two classes a day, but they're 90 minutes a piece. All in all, that's not bad...... until you realize that I have the same students for two classes in a row. Periods 1 and 2 are one class, 3 and 4 are one class, then 5th is just one class. The schedule tomorrow is 1st period is 90 minutes, then 2nd period is 90 minutes. I'm going to have the same students for 3 hours tomorrow. ***. Can't stand to look at their stupid faces?
we usually did movie days for those, put on the princess bride or something. Is it me or does this sound like code to beat them with bamboo poles? morning all.
I'm too busy for my shirt, so busy it hurts. Ramyrez said: » Is it me or does this sound like code to beat them with bamboo poles? it wirr benefit dem. dey racka da disaprine. Prepare to die! edit: ***, make them write about it over their vacation if they want you to be a bit evil. I often wonder what childhood experience has led Misa to hate tables so much? Did a table kill his dog? Turns out the table was his dog.
Maybe when he needed the table the most, it wasn't there for him. Or maybe the table left him when he was a young lad. It's okay Misa. We can work through this together. They have a voracious appetite for my little toes and they reach out and bite them at every opportunity. Pic semi-related:

Jump starting healthier meal planning today.
I'm depressed as hell about it, but I suspect I'll get over it. I need to lose some god damn weight. I've packed it on this past year or so, which is doubly bad because I actually lost a bunch the end of last year. Which includes significantly less alcohol in my life to boot, which is probably where I get a lot of my empty calories. But. It's something I need to do and once I get over the initial hump all will be well I'm sure. But man that's a big first step. Ramyrez said: » Jump starting healthier meal planning today. ![]() What's going on? What? How do people manage to only watch videos during exam week? Is this just a Virginia thing? In HS, if you had an A average for the semester (combining each grade per six week grading periods), teachers would average each six week period grade as your exam grade, and you didn't have to show up. If you had below an A average, well, you took an exam. Basically, it was incentive to keep your grades up through out the semester. Is this the only wack-a-doo state that does that? Am I misunderstanding something? People just sat around and watched videos for exam week in HS? |
