I was going to post this in RT but they wouldn't know wtf I'm saying.
A few months ago, my cousin gave me a Chevy 305...which Is most likely seized atm. I've been trying to think of something to do with it and have come to two options.
1. Buy an old 1940's Chevy Delivery Panel Wagon and convert it into a camper for hunting.
2. When I was 16, I wanted an 80's Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The Grand Wagoneer was powered by an AMC 360 V8 which got about 10 MPG. The second option is to get a Grand Wagoneer and swap the 305 into it. People swap 350s in them all the time, 305 and 350 are pretty much interchangable so I'd assume the 305 would provide better gas mileage if tuned right.

it all depends really on what style you want. If you want the nostalgic look, go with the Grand Wagoner with the 305

second, I would like to go on record stating that replacing anything with a 305 is not as easy as typing it out in a forum...
third, the 80's jeep wagoneer xj will get 10 miles to the gallon no matter what engine it has because it weighs two tons once you put a driver in it.
four. you could spend the rest of your natural life trying to turn a seized 305 small block and a seventy year old truck carcass into a camper... and it would still be a rocking chair on top away from being the Beverly hillbillymobile. <insert polishing turd and lipstick on a pig analogies here>
