We mostly work for an oil company, building, expanding, and maintaining their containment. New girl there.

I don't think it is. Now the cross is very real, but I think it's used to restrain disabled children (so I've heard, anyway). Either way though, it's wholly draconian.

We aren't on payroll, they just hire us for stuff like that. Other times my dad gets us jobs. That was a case of my brother talking with one of his "oh, he's a good guy" friends and got us in a mess. Come to find out, the guy didn't want to hire a crew, he wanted to do it himself as a weekend project. His uncle had him contact my brother to get a price.

If she's not related to the owners of the company I don't see why they would take it personally if things went bad. Even so, they could just go hang out platonicly (sp?). It's not always about lovey-dovey stuff and junk.

Mosin and Skully would get an uneasy chuckle out of this too, I assume. Jesus!
I assumed they would have a lot of turnover. I'm assuming she's clerical. I know a lot of subs and whatnot basically have a revolving door dependent on the flow of work, sometimes even season-by-season.
