I wasn't the first choice.

you're the hero ffxiah deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll troll you. Because you can take it. Because you're not our hero. You're a silent guardian. That never learned how to shut the hell up....
I don't have a response to this, but I'm quoting you and saying this to prove your point.

I was at a Chase two days ago and two men wearing business attire walked in with holstered hand guns on display just to make deposits.

I remember 3yrs ago I went to a Circle K in Deer Valley after playing basketball and a guy walked in with a shotgun slung over his shoulder. He was buying a 44oz thirst burster.

I'm sure you heard about the guy that tried to shoot at the moon recently too.
Ughhh... Why are people that blatantly stupid?

I love mead, a local winery about an hour from me opened a meadery a couple years ago. Took some hunting and shared, people said it was "too strong."

This was the place by my college. We used to drive along the back dirt (really sand) roads to smoke blunts. Only went there once. It was nice though. They give you a lot to drink for a tour, lol.

It's funny you mention that. Last week when I went in to talk to the assistant principal, he was talking about putting cover pages on documents.

You should make a cover page that says "TPS Report" on it.

Any time anyone asks me for anything like that I tell them "Oh yeah, we can't do that any more because of the Paperwork Reduction Act"

They buy it every time!

And it works because they have heard of the "Paperwork Reduction Act" before and they know it's a thing... and you have to deliver that line with absolute certainty.. and then they go "oh yeah... I forgot about that..." and leave you alone.

The Wild West is back.

1. First off the "wild west" was very anti-gun, and had some pretty hefty regulations, don't believe what you see/hear in movies.

2. Exercising a right to bear arms doesn't mean a right to brandish or shoot people randomly.

3. I'm all for people arming themselves, but do it smart and make sure you know how to properly and safely handle the weapon/tool you purchase before you start carrying it.

I'm not familiar with AZ law, but is it OC or do you need to get a permit to CC?

I kid, of course. Actually, that's the reason Arizona was one of the last states to be inducted into the Union; it was seen as untamed and violent. Not much has changed. I'm not familiar with the laws out here, but I know they're lax as hell. Gun shows don't require a background check. I remember going there with my brother. He bought a handgun and walked out with it the same day. I'm fairly certain concealed carry is still a thing, out here.

Not many people understand why the second amendment is in place. It's not to shoot your neighbor because his skin's darker than yours, it's to prevent you from being powerless when pinned by government oppression. Instead, people use it as a form of personal expression.

This being said, as a teacher in the face of multitudinous school shootings, I'm not gripped in fear. It only makes me want to do everything I can to keep my students safe. I hope if I ever have to face something like this that I'll know to do the right thing.
