Going through the units for my Freshmen, it seems pretty straightforward and easy. Mostly everything is available to them in the textbook, which means I don't have to go rummaging around to find books to read before the start of the year.

Well, it's a "catch-up" class. It's for all those kids who failed English in their Freshman year. It's technically referred to as the 9/10 Block, so I have them for 2 hours a day.

Yessim. So, there's going to be some things I'm going to be doubling up on between my Frosh and my Sophs like I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings and I Have A Dream, but then I'm having them read Sophomore level texts as well. I'm thinking my units will be the Frosh level stuff first, then Sophomore level stuff afterwards in class. Like, "Good job analyzing I Have A Dream, now let's take out Night and start cracking down on chapter 5..."

People would obviously ***bricks were you to take Scragg up on that offer. Turning over a new leaf and allotting redemption is apparently an obscure concept for whatever reason.

to be fair, kojo does very well being the only active moderator on the site atm, and he hasn't slid into the valley of no return that shall not be named. it was shocking when it first happened, though.
