Nik your new avatar is adorable. Based on previous posts I would have not guessed you had a soft spot for baby bunnies.

To contribute to the bunny theme I saw a Danish rabbit while out today, not a baby though. They are frickin' huge. It looked like this, slightly shorter but it was hopping away so I can't say exactly how long it was.

And here is bunny show jumping, something started in Sweden.

But you have to be diplomatic about it and trick them into thinking they are right. What we did is create a quasi fictitious entity whose title is "credit manager" (because he has never been very impressed with titles)... but, (we explain to the customer), he is actually the CFO of the company and sits at the right hand of teh boss, who nobody but him gets to talk to.

He is based on a real person that used to work here with a common name, sadly he passed away some time ago but he is still working overtime for us from beyond the grave.

So you make up a name and a email box and a back story. And when little Miss Bitchy Skeezer calls up an asks to speak to the manager, you say... "I understand you are upset, {/lowered voice} but if you want to REALLY get something done about this, the person you really need to take this up with is my manager's boss, his name is Bill West (if that name sounds familiar it's because he does the voice of stimpy on Ren and Stimpy cartoons)

Then you explain the whole back story about how he is the REAL boss and the best at handling these types of situations...

But the thing about Bill is he is getting old...and he suffered a heart attack recently so he has been working a lot from home, so the only way to get a hold of him s through email. But make no mistake Bill is the man you want to talk to, he has the final authority to address your concerns.

Three things are happening in the back ground
1.) Creating a "higher authority" that everyone defers too
2.) Creating a sympathetic older character, an elderly scamp who is a bit of a rogue.
3.) Creating an employee that can't possibly be fired

Because he is the "credit manager" we use him for all of our heinous duties like collection letters, account suspensions

But you have to write his emails in the fake person's style as if this imaginary person is writting them.

Dear Madame:

First I would like to thank you for your continued support of the XYZ company. Your business is greatly appreciated and your concerns are very important to me.

I greatly appreciate you taking the time to write to me about this situation. Please allow me some time to thoroughly investigate this matter and I will get back to you shortly.

Credit Manager

Oh yeah, good old Bill, he is a suave mothafucka and professional to a fault. He is one of those classic old businessmen with pictures of him and like, the president on the wall. Always impecably dressed in a three piece suit.

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.

Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.

We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).

Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.

Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.

Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
