Well, if you had to take him to your back yard, into your shed to get a closer look he might have been scoping your shed for stuff to steal later.

This! Do you have your shed locked? Will someone be home while you're gone?

Either way, the bike is now being moved to my basement until I feel safe having it outside again.
4 years ago, on my birthday no less, my bicycle was stolen from my backyard.

We had a 7' tall privacy fence constructed sturdily out of wood. I used a steel U-lock to lock my bicycle to one of the support posts (a 4x4) for the fence. When I went to grab my bike to run an errand, I found that someone overnight had crept into my backyard, acquired an axe, and hacked apart my fence to steal my bike. I hope they *** the bike up when trying to open the lock because those things require an angle grinder and at least half an hour of patient work.

Lesson learned: my bikes are kept in my home now and forever.

I thought about reporting kingnoobie's little tirade as "harassment of a friend"... but it would have been too hard to prove it was insulting to anyone...besides kn...and maybe his parents...but I can't imagine they post here.

I'm sure it makes sense to him when he is posting it.... but it's like a connect the dot picture of a duck that some kid makes into what he thinks is a sailboat and nobody else can see it and his mom goes....

oh.. yeah...that's...that's nice billy....be a good boy and run along....go play in traffic now...mmmhmmm...ok bye bye...

while they are making a salad for dinner...

Wait...What?

No skin off Pleebo's back, if that's what you're referring to. Pleebo probably gives no ***.

Didn't take him anywhere. lol

That bike is mine, and I've caught people attempting to steal it (One of them tried to throw it over the fence.) at least 3 times. Probably want it because it has two disk breaks to be honest... nice bike.

If I lived in a place where that type of stuff happened, I'd hollow out the 4x4 and run a galvanized steel post through it just to be an *** to thieves.

The shed is locked, though at this point in time the only thing in it is a much older and crappier bike that neither I or the rest of the family care about anyway.

Now that I know someone is scoping it out, the bike stays in the house and if anything I'll put it into the garage in the winter if I'm still living here(note: more than likely won't be.)

Either way, it's safe and I'm pretty sure we still have the serial number in the safe because mom is a bit of a hoarder.

The bike was probably worth a maximum of $100 resale, and that'd be trying to find a buyer on craigslist. More likely the jackass sold it on the street for $40, tops. But, yeah, after the shock of having my property so thoroughly violated (which admittedly took a couple months to get over because this was way more than I ever expected to happen), it was baffling.

I guess you guys need a few beers first before you decided to take some peyote from those strange guys. Makes sense, lol.

Thanks for the cedar plank salmon tip Magnuss!

Tried it this weekend and it was delicious. Only downside was the process cedar planked my face! even my mustache smelled like cedar smoke. Maybe I had the grill too hot... that was a lot of fooking smoke... delicious, but deadly.... just how I like it!

Then after I removed the fish I threw the planks onto the coals and cedar planked the whole neighborhood...

The smoke is exactly what you want; it's what made that salmon so damn delicious. Glad you enjoyed it, my friend.

Thumbing through my Facebook page, I saw the trending news section, and the three main stories were Macaulay Culkin, Jim Carrey and Steve Perry (the old vocalist from Journey). It feels like I got in a time machine and stepped out in 1992.

You must have different cedar where you guys are, the cedar here puts off poisonous fumes if cooked with.

morning all.

I hope the weekend was nice and leisurely for the lot of you. it was ok here, outside of the chance death of my sturdy 100 $ lawnmower that has lasted a hell of a 5 years. I went out to get it friday night, & if I had been a robot, it would have been a gruesome crime scene. oil all over da ***' place. bummer.
