So what is everyone's opinion on mining? I did it for an hour or so while waiting on everyone to gather for Dyna (Zeruhn mines since it was close to bastok entry).
I think I'll keep doing it for my blacksmith / goldsmith (though goldsmith can't benefit from it as far as skill levels go). I got a good amount of iron and zinc during that time. Got a darksteel ore as well.

What stuff do you have on your bazaar? I've got my bazaar up in Jeuno as well. Got a wootz ore and astral ring that I'm trying to sell.
I used to mine iron ore for a while and with my smithing turn them into ingots once I got 4.
Then make them into bullets with Alchemy, this is when COR first came out though and bullet prices were through the roof on Unicorn.

Hermes' are the best purchase I have made in this game.
Well my primary focus is to mine where I can get mats I need for skilling up crafting as well as make a little gil on the side. I'm done with zinc ore so all that goes on the AH. The iron ore goes to my smithing mule.
Once my smithing mule can't use them anymore I'd start selling them.

I campaign often too, so getting around from battle to battle 12% faster would be lovely.
Darksteel works on popping Phantom Worm. Remember that the drops aren't 100%, but to me it's worth the risk since you really only lose the pickaxes that were broke mining.
Phantom Worm will take a couple 75's to get to, but the pop area is very small.

I wanna level my cor so i can "pew pew pew" but bullet prices suck, idk i may try to cap out at 230 on nin with bronze bullets then lvl cor after i do sam. I mean hell i'm 3/5 on cor and if my lot hadnt been 135 last night id have gotten the hat for 5 points because it went to freelot.
But meh o well ooo hase go to my item set and look at the cor build and tell me what you think of it.

They're nice too if you aggro a whole horde or mobs and you have room to kite until they lose interest. Unless you aggro the boss then you are ***.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I looked at the drops. It always drops 3 ores from what wiki says. Getting 3 iron or 3 darksteel would make it more than worth it anyway. It's a weak NM so not like much time taken.

The set looks fine Urial, just replace the Coffinmaker with a Martial Gun, especially since you have a Joyeuse to TP in. If it's strictly pewpewing (like I'm generally forced to do now unless I can toss up Fighter's Roll) then a Coffinmaker is possibly better since our Marksmenship is onry B.
