Ohhhh I have GoT opening song as phone ringtone. :3
I get into fights with my wife because I want to watch the opening/s for game of thrones & walking dead. she thinks it's a waste of time, & I say *** that, it sets the mood. what's the good word? who's horribly wrong here? obviously not me.
Some openings you can skip through. Personally, I get really pumped up in anticipation, especially when the music is AWESOME!

I live in SD, this mf'er was still log cabins & ***in that time frame. hell, we were still playing cowboys & Indians. so, nope. sry. no history here. >.O
Yuck! I knew I was going to have to call some contractors (some of which I don't like), so I could get a jump-start on this this weekend. I was hoping I wouldn't have to make calls until Monday. I hate talking to people about work when the weekend is around the bend. Crap-a-doo! That's what I get for raising my hand like the frothing, over-zealous kid with all the answers in class. :/ Ooooo~ Me! Me! Me! ME! PICK ME! MINE! /tinker mode
you wild woman, it's only wednesday.
Trust me, talking to some of these old curmudgeons will make it feel as though days have passed by.

lmao!

I love when they get to telling stories, & you try to walk away like 10 different times, but the message is not received -.-

What are you going to pay me? I have a $30,000 two acre lot with a ravine behind it thirty minutes North of me with my name on it, or I wish it had my name on it. :(

God! Life was easier when Dad footed the bill. Can I exchange some of the superfluous crap from my childhood and teen years for the expensive things I want now?

Some of the vets...Oh God! I try to oblige with a smile, but when the ramble about their service days...I just...

EDIT: It gets to the point where the only thing I'm thinking of is, "How can I segway this back to the situation at hand?"

Baltimore? So late 1700's early 1800's? That must have been fun and a pain in the ***. State and historical society's red tape. :/

It's sad seeing buildings that are dilapidated. At least in the East their go-to solution isn't to mow them over.

Fun fact: The lot I want is outside of Georgetown, TX! LOL!

Ohhhh Z we had to refinish and reassemble an old fireplace mantle from the Poe houses. Man those things were nice, well they were before we took them down from the crumbling buildings to repair back in our warehouse. Looked like only things keeping it together were termites holdings their arms together. :3

I love old neat ***like that. Down there Z they got like.....The Alamo???? Oldest thing there? :P

Oh hell no. Not enough is torn down sometimes. My God the need to keep historical stuff can be a pita but some of it don't deserve it. Lol always neat to see them underpin old buildings. Hate to be the guy doing that! My old hs best bud does some of that old masonry repair work in DC. He was not hurt as bad during recession. Old ***always needs repair!

Another nice thing is lots of rehab jobs we do. This one GC has it good with this non profit place that buys delapitated buildings and turns them into low income shelters for hungry and beat wives n stuff like that.

One of my dad's buddies did restoration in Galveston, TX then moved on to Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. He now owns a salvage company for Colonial to Victorian decorative interior items like fireplace mantles and such, including runners that are extinct woods like real black mahogany and some kind of pine...I forgot.

He's the closest thing I have to an uncle on the American side. I think that's where I got the interest from. His sons really didn't give a ***, and I ate it up. He actually helped me with some of the restoration on my house, but my house was built in the 1940's.

Nice! I miss working on house fixing up to nicer stuff. Don't tell my bro that.....he paid me as I bitched but really loved coming up with solutions. Tho....moving that wood burning oven in basement and repairing hole.....not. amused.

Id say Walnut but I know that's still around. I know White Cedar is like only left in NJ now and protected. Ffs do t cut one of those down.....

My God....no offense Z, but some in your trade have earned my floating hatred of them. One project. 20 story apt building. 4 stories of poured concrete now above grade. Still 490 rfi going and like 15 CCD updates. The GC HSS a PE there that all she does is manage and send out change and update notifications........I'm tempted to say "I've had it!" When they get to 500....

Like seriously....this ***didn't happen back in day when y'all did this on paper! Y'all drew it once and building was perfect the first time......hope things over there better in the biggest state....cuz OMFG!!!
