Like I said I don't beleive in using all that junk and I ONLY use windower because it runs better then windowed mode

All things aside, I seriously do recommend you look into Scripts then. Basically all it does is remove the 6-line limit for macros. You can swap all 16 gear swaps to nuke, then swap them all back to an idle set, after the nuke goes off, in the same macro.

I know I know. But to me in some ways that's like idk to easy. Not to mention back a long time ago when I did look into it it looked dumbly complicated

Ixion CAPE, not Cloak.

RDM can wear the Cloak, but not the cape.

I don't understand this statemnt. 1 windower runs better and easier then SEs own windowed mode. 2. If you can run vista you can do windower easy. 3. My comp is over 6 years old and this laptop I'm using is over 5 years

How is another int/mnd and 10 more mp worthless and not as good?

To be frank, yes.

Singing/Instrument skills do next to nothing for offensive spells for BRD (I know, it's backwards but because of the fact that BRD combines Singing+Wind Skills for instance to find their ACC, adding 5 skill does almost nothing) So your options would be CHR+3 M.ACC+1 Singing Skill+5, with either +10 on Osode or +10 on Errant, which puts you at 13 CHR still, but only 1 M.ACC and 5 skill.

Ixion Cloak is statistically much better. The only thing that really comes close is Opo-Opo Crown+Mahatma for a total CHR+18. Even then, no BRDs use that crown at 75, and the tradeoff is 5 M.ACC vs. 5 CHR. Obviously the M.ACC is better.

Lol. You might be thinking of something else.
Ixion is hands-down the best cape for BLM in the game. Only thing that even compares is Gleeman's Cape which is still 5 INT, but 40 less MP.

That being said, you could always get that Sea Cape to replace Prism Cape on RDM.

I'd like better graphics (at least better than my 360) when I'm playing, my windower keeps crashing and I don't want to figure it out so I'm blaming vista (because it worked fine on XP), and I like using a controller.

adapter makes 360 controller work wireless on the pc. you lose your triggers but swap those macro buttons to the bumpers and problem solved....ooo and make the back button do auto run.

And yes un-install/re-install my windower works fine on vista

That does sound backwards. I mean 1 skill is supposed to be about 1 macc. And even if it gets halved cause you combine them thats still not hardly anything. Either way that isn't even the best head peice you could get just a one that has a nice combo of stats

After roughly 400 skill, Skill drops from .9 ACC to roughly .5-.7 ACC, according to a few parses I did. Since BRD has 450 skill (with no merits or gear) at 75, Skill does have diminishing returns, to the point where the direct skill is only useful for buffs like Minuet where there is no direct hard cap.

That being said, CHR doesn't affect beneficial songs at all so there's no reason not to use skill for it.

I have two of these (one for each computer):

Edit:

This one is better looking, but only appears to support 2 controllers. Personally, I've never played a 2-player PS game on PC.

Hook it up to use your TV as a monitor.

Never heard of that diminishing returns. Hell last I heard there was a still a debate on the whole .9 thing since its pretty damn hard to prove. So basically for most brds +skill is about equal to +chr?

Well, technically yes, but that's because it's the highest skill attainable and you can't get higher than that.

Like if, per se, a SAM had the best gear possible and his Gekkos hit 2500, you could call that the cap for Gekko.

I might set my computers up close to the TV in my house when I move just so I can play on the screen (dual monitor it with my smaller screen for other stuff).
