As I said there is nothing inherently wrong with five guys, I have eaten there, it's fine. There are two of them close enough to me I could hit them both with a rpg, and perhaps if it was or is the only burger place near you besides mcd's I could see your enthusiasm for it.
But there are also fifty other burger places near me that have been doing it better faster longer and stronger than five guys. Plus they each have an added bonus of carrying something other than burgers.
Which matters when you involve non men in your lunch/dinner arrangements. With men you can agree on what/where/when to eat with the utterance the single word "Burger?" or "Bdubs?" which can be acknowledged with a round of head nods.
five guys has several other key disadvantages besides a limited menu. It's too slow for a fast place and too cheap to be a nice place and too expensive to be a cheap place. It's not as entertaining as a BW3 it's not as comfortable as a Red Robin or Ruby Tuedays it offers nothing of distinction other than a decent burger which through the divine gift of altana you can now find anywhere.
So, in the circumstance that it's the only place other than a pizza buffet and I ate pizza the night before and/or my client wants to eat there, I will go/have gone.
But for me it doesn't have that push your mother down and step on her back to get into the place because of the burning light and angels choir song that lifts you to climactic joy type of experience.... or a full bar.

Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
