Speaking of games, I hate how there's no good Vita game out yet (that I want). I don't have one either and I think it'd be a waste just to buy it for one game that I want to play (coming out in 7 days).

been fairly emersed in Strategic Command: Global Conflict!
it's pretty great, it combines all my old WWII strategy games into one, so I've been making the world cry as Germany & Japan. I've also been being cursed for not being on bl2, so I might be on there some more. I've been afk'ing up my gaurd skill on ffxi in there as well, I think I'm up over 300 now, so I'll hopefully finish that up soon & get back to fishing.

Explain to me, Stikl, why you want to live a long life? I mean after you hit, what, around 65, you retire and your life becomes lame, you can accomplish nothing more, you probably will lose things, such as your eyesight, hearing, so on, you'll also lose your friends, your grandsons/grandaughters will make fun of you (and secretly think you smell), your have nothing else left to do, yet you want to live another 20+ years. Outwardly, your grandfather has taken on the appearance of a decrepit husk of human uselessness. While the sum total of your human existence has left you with merely an empty cardboard box to play with in your mind, old people have had the time and life experience to take that empty box and build an entire universe, which they rule.

The feeling is mutual btw, old people don't like you either. They look at you as a lost cause, wasted potential and squandered youth. With your energy they could take over the world. The older you get the more you can appreciate all life has to offer and bask in the simple comforts of a warm sunbeam or a calm breeze or look at a sunset on the shores of the ocean and see it for all it's majesty, drowning out your childish complaints of sand getting into your underwear and itching, and then your welpish cries being thirsty or tired or bored.

I know, Flav. I was just wondering how many more years til the servers get cut. All i was saying is that it's fluid... They'll keep maintaining it until it no longer serves their purpose... that being profitability weighed against resource consumption... It will be alive for a bit now at least with the new expansion coming out...
XIV is their baby now though... I heard they even stopped production of XIII-versus to move the team over to XIV for a bit... once XIV gets up and running they might consider letting go of XI given whatever it's current state is at the time...

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.
Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.
We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Kungfu is the LS nutjob, spouting super random things that are usually sexist, until Savvy or Alyria comes into the room. Then he's a classic case of sexual harrassment. Rumaha is also true to the second part; we're wondering about his sexuality though.

Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.

Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
