After playing FFXI, I can never play another MMO the same way. It's like Stockholm Syndrome has me in its icy grip.

Or maybe it's because the communities of other MMOs just outright suck.

I played FFXI off and on from 2004 to 2010 barely 2011ish. If I would have played that for six years straight, I would have taken myself out back and checked out. I would have missed a lot of fun experiences in my early twenties, and I know two people IRL who flunked out of college because of FFXI! (Well, I can't say it was the game's fault. It was their inability to get their priorities straight. Retard mode: Not going to class! Got to camp an HNM!) So, it's a toss up.

RIFT was boring.

GWII haven't really invested myself in it. Seems like it could be another RIFT, just prettier.

LoL...Been playing that since Fall of last year.

EDIT: And, you know, I actually had to have a job in college. Unlike some people.

lol... I actually couldn't play while on campus... they blocked the ports needed to play the game... was bummed at first but oh well lol...

I wasn't a fan of rift either... Don't really feel the urge to play any other MMO's at all really... I might take up 14... that's a big might though lol... I still dabble in XI but I've moved over to console games and I really need to because well I've been buying games way faster than I have been playing them and I have about 20 on the list now lol...

well you know how I feel about LoL... never been a fan of the "free" games though that rail you...

Edit: I only ever had summer jobs... never had to work during school...

No. Like I said before they couldn't prioritize. I think he just lost it after he went on to academic probation, and when he finally failed out and had to live with his parents again. That was it for him. He become really melancholy and hard to even talk to after he was booted from NMSU.
