I feel there should be other words to describe who you're with other than g/f or b/f... it irks me for some odd reason... not like its bad or something just like in the back of my head it just doesn't feel right...
zarah im gonna get the books too, the show has made me want to read it now.

I was thinking about picking up 'Game of Thrones' because of Arya (sp?). IDK. Not my usual genera though. Not really big on gleep-glops and floop-dee-doos, but just judging from the show, it seems like it's not a "typical" fantasy series.
I started watching the show with my BF. The first season starts off slow, but it will definitely suck you in! I just really like the Arya girl.

I'm not really into fantasy at all, other than FF11 but I have found that show to be really good. It's not really what you would expect from a fantasy show, there are no magicians running around throwing fireballs at each other or majestic wonderous elves from gumdrop lane with lovely blonde hair and white teeth.
It's pretty much just a gritty, almost bleak world that is in the middle of a war due to the king dying and all the drama that comes along with that.
Would almost go as far to say it's a political drama with swords.
Very good show.

NK is just pissed off now because their missile failed and the U.S. took away all their food aid again because of the launch. The only reason they can act so bold in the first place is because China backs them. I doubt China would ever support open conflict though as that would not be beneficial to them. They just like the buffer NK provides.

Same! I parted ways with fiction in middle school. I've always been one for biographies and history, but this show has a boat-load of salacious going-ons that parallel regal houses of Europe! JUICY!!!

Ender's Game was a good book and a good series. I think they're making a movie for that now (or trying to) to come out in '2013
