I have a brewer friend that works for Widmer here in Portland, and I asked him the same. When I told him I had some 6 month old stuff, he kind of had a stroke, but said it was ok to have. Assuming it's kept in good conditions (cold, no sun) you can get 6-8 months out of a lot of beers.

I have a lot of friends here that brew their own, and they do even more than that, I want to say they've had some kegged for up to a year that still come out fine.

8 months is pushing it, but you'll know in the first sip if it's still ok!

That astounds me. I had some of my confirmation classes with Catholics and Episcopalians since our town was super-mega Baptist. I heard that kind of crap from Baptists all the time.

/sigh

There were so many times that I wanted to say, "Look, tardmotrons! You would all still be Catholic if it wasn't for Martin Luther and King Henry VIII. Don't you learn any type of theological history in before your baptismal? Oh yeah...You just scream, 'Praise Jesus', and get dunked!"

Urgh!

Yeah...Baptist down here annoy the ever living crap out of me.

It's funny, Z, that they also reject the notion that if Constantine didn't decide it was pretty cool religion they'd never even be Christian.

After a while, people learn to do diaper cakes and what not. I remember a couple of my buddies requested the bottle sterilizer, Diaper Genie, etc. They found out that it was all pretty much a nuisance, and ended up just hand-cleaning bottles and taking the diaps out to the garbage. They still warn everyone that is a first-time parent not to purchase all these superfluous items.

I just love giving gifts!!! I go nuts for baby showers, birthdays, Christmas, christianings, and weddings. It's fun! Not to mention, I love wrapping presents!

It's a diaper trashcan that is supposed to keep the smell away. Just use regular bags (grocery bags are great), wrap the diaper up, and deposit it in the outside can. Much easier!

Edit ~ and congratulations on the lil rug rat! They are great!!

Here's what it looks like...

God! When my nephew was born I went a little overboard. I got a Tiffany's teething ring with his name engraved. I don't think I would do that for kids outside of my family.

Somebody around here, other than me, needs to have a kid soon! This puts me in a shopping mood. 2010 and 2011 most of my friends were shoving them out like nobody's business.

My brother told me of this diaper thing that he got for my niece. Apparently every time you put a diaper in the basket, you have to twist it before continuing, thus isolating the diaper and eliminating the smell. He said that it instead turned into a stinky pearl necklace.

It's in times like this that I'm glad I'm a Secondary Education Major.

I'm right there with ya, though. 12 page paper due on Sunday about a book that I'm only halfway done with reading. WEEEEEEEE!!! The key is ***. Lots and lots of fluffy ***. English Professors eat that stuff up like candy.

edit: LUNCH IN NARNIA!!

The way I look at it, I don't have to pick a degree.
The BA is totally a Liberal Arts degree and the Masters is more of an applied science.

It's like building a on

Dat hybrid build.

Whenever we go to the mall, he always parks near the children's side entrance of Macy's, because it's "more convenient". Life's little tests. LOL!

I just finished cutting the grass around our picnic table/smoking area at work (and by cutting I mean using my weed eater) because the company which is our landlords has been slacking yet again. Keep in mind, I don't smoke. Not sure if:

A) I just became company ***.
or
B) I'm the smart one for finding an excuse to enjoy the wonderful day that it is, even if only for a bit.

I'm going with B, plus dat job security.

We all know it's because you're afraid that if the bushes get to tall you may have a Garen infestation.

At least you're pitching in, like we discussed earlier.

The only time I miss being able to go outside and smoke is on nice days.
