Don't do it. It's too expensive and it won't make you live any longer.

Don't care about life length, I just want to lose weight so I look better and feel better about myself.

So, apparently before my girlfriend knew me, her, her brother, and her mom had a Chinese Saturday. I'm not sure what to think of this. I tried to explain Chinese Wednesday to her, but we don't see each other much during the week so she can't always participate in Wednesday. But we can't afford Wednesday AND Saturday.
Did you explain that:
1) Chinese Wednesday is widespread
2) Sweet and Sour sauce is made from the blood of those who do not participate
3) The king has spoken
4) Tiddlywinks
5) Breaks up the work week.

One of my major weaknesses has been the lack of breakfast has made me a ravenous beast by lunch time that eats out. Trying to turn 1 bad meal into 2 good meals.

Do you run, bike or blade or anything like that? dieting and such is one part of it but you really feel a lot better, and it goes faster, when you work in a bunch of cardio. While what you eat does matter too it could just be a question of how much. Still get that pizza but eat 2 slices instead of 4 and stuff like that. Making some chicken, throw some veggies on it. Feeling hungry grab an orange... Probably heard all of this before but yeah...

Honestly though as long as you have a goal and some kind of plan to get you where you want to be in time it should all come togehter. Best advice I can offer is just to go at your own pace and stick to it. So easy to slip off and then not get back on.

My breakfast during the week is usually a granola bar or oatmeal that I bring into work and eat at my desk :P

Weekends? I don't often wake up for what most would consider breakfast >.>

So very jealous ... I don't think I have slept in on a weekend in ~6 years. I am lucky to sleep until 7:30, which I guess is better than my 5:30 weekdays.

Haha, I work 7-4 so that I can avoid the traffic in ATL. It works out nice and allows me to get home by 5pm and have some time to spend with my son before bed. I used to work until 5, but I wasn't getting home until 6:30-7, which meant I would come home, bathe him, and say good night. When I first moved here, it was just me for the first 6 months, my BF moved down later, so we had to throw dinner in there as well. Was a pretty crazy 6 months.

Because my little man is an early bird. When we lived in Cali, he was up every morning at 5:30. When we moved here he started to sleep in a little later, but it is usually 6:30. I can fend him off with cartoons for about an hour before he just won't let up.

It's not so bad as long as I don't geek out on FFXI until all hours of the night.

There is no such thing as "nights" on ffxi....as dark time suddenly becomes the AM.

He must still be young lol give it a few more years and you will be attempting to drag him out of bed because its 1 in the afternoon lol... I'm so used to getting up early that it usually rolls into the weekends too lol... I rarely sleep in anymore but I really don't like to that much either... I'm usually up at 6:30 on the weekdays and 8 ish on weekends.

I live close enough that it only takes me 20 or so mins to walk to work so I'm pretty licky there.

Yeah, so I totally didn't believe people when they said ATL traffic was worse then LA. I bought a house a bit further outside of ATL then most, which makes for a total RAGE drive if I have to sit in traffic at all! The funniest part is, I only live 26 miles from work if I go all back roads, but the highway is ~38 and can take up to 2 hours.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have probably bought much closer to the office, but then I would probably be in a condo in the city instead of having a house with a back yard on the end of a cul-de-sac for the little one.

And Flavin ~ yes, he is 6 years old. I would like to hope that some day he will sleep in, but if he is anything like my father, he will be a forever early bird. And even on the rare chance that he does sleep in, I'm usually still up by 7:30-8, just because I'm used to it by now.
