Mini-mesters are a breeze any way you slice it. I put chem on the same level as physics classes as far as intensity. You just need to buckle down the same as you do with any class, and you'll pass.

It depends with math. A ton of new equations thrown at you at once can be overwhelming, especially people like me who struggle with math.
I spent my summers interning or working... summer classes are packed into a short time frame where you spend 4 hours a night in a class room twice a week where I find most people are falling asleep in. I went one summer and to me it was a total waste for a learning experience. If you're talking about getting credits out of the way why not take 18-21 credits per semester too? I'm sure that will help you get out earlier as well. My advice to anyone still in school spend your summers interning and getting experience in your field as well as building relationships in a company you might like to work for. You could also find out its something you actually wouldn't like to do.

As for a summer job, my parents still support me so I really don't need a job myself, although the work ethic and spare cash does benefit, but honestly not as much as clearing more credits. As for interning, not all people can just hop on an intern, especially during early college days.

I did this from age twenty to twenty-two. Well, I always worked, because my parents weren't going to pay for my little extras if I didn't at least have a job.
I would break up the two summer semesters into six hours per mini-mester, so twelve hours by the end of the summer. I just didn't like getting out of the swing of things for two and a half months either.
