No worries. I'm doing ok right now.
Well, other than the fact that it is FRICKIN HOT! and we don't have air conditioning.

I couldn't live without AC. You are stronger than I could ever dream of being Lue. For that, I applaud you.

I can do both.
I'm fine with being hot during the day really, it's the night-time that gets me.

As long as there's a breeze through the window, I can live without AC.

Also i have to be in shorts. If i'm in pants, I need AC.

Lue you should make home-made AC.

Supplies needed:
1 Fan
2 Buckets or 1 bucket & 1 cooler (preferred)
Copper tubing
Ice
Water

Instructions:
Coil the copper tubing around the back of the fan. Use something to fasten it to the wire framing of the fan (zip ties work great).

Fill the cooler or 1 bucket with the water and ice. Place an open end of the copper tubing in the bottom of the bucket.

Place the empty bucket at a lower elevation than the filled bucket. Stick the other end of the copper tubing in the bottom of the bucket.

Turn on the fan and enjoy the cool air!

Does anyone know how I should go about getting FF5 on a portable system?
I've tried running a rom with a translated file on my SNES emulator on my android phone, but it doesn't recognize the translation file, so it remains in JP text.
I'm not sure if FF5 was ever released for consoles like the DS or PSP, anyone able to elaborate on this?

The strange thing is I patched my Mother 3 ROM and after that it was able to be run on my SNES emulator via Android in English. Unless someone knows of an actual patch to translate FF5 SNES ROM into English, it won't be able to simply read an additional file that does the translation work like ZSNES does.

You must play it in English too. Gilgamesh's monologues are too good to miss.

Well shucks, the FF5 release for PSN is still "in development" which in SE terms, means pending indefinitely.
I suppose I'll have to look into a literal patching via IPS>SMC through DOS. What a pain in the *** D:

Well played there Vinvv, though I wouldn't consider something that requires being plugged into a wall jack "portable".

Not to my knowledge.
I know they released FF6 Advanced, but I have yet to see 5.
I'll look into it.

Edit: Sure enough. Final Fantasy V Advance.
Looks like my options are a portable PS One with some sort of fancy battery attachment and playing FF Anthology, using a GBA emulator with FF5 Advance ROM, patching a translation onto a SNES ROM, or waiting for FF5 to be released on PSN and buy a PSP.

I remember getting pretty far in 5 but suddenly stopping for unknown reasons. I really need to get back into it and finish it once and for all. And what perfect form of motivation than this?

So, I'm on the phone with my girlfriend talking about food when Scrapple is mentioned. I'm from the Midwest and I've never heard of this crap, but it looks absolutely disgusting.

WTF is wrong with you, East Coast?

I'm not part of the mithra community, but this is much appreciated :p

Also, Scrapple looks pretty unappealing, but it's more or less just meat loaf, sounds good.
