Would probably be going as THF/DNC for self sufficiency. Or would /NIN make more sense?

silence constantly loses you shadows and you'd spend almost as much as you made on echo drops
i think /dnc would be better, though i don't have major experience farming them, the couple times i did, i want thf/nin

You know that beast blood from those lesser gaylas in zi'tah, though gimped in NPC price from 500ish, they still go for about 300 gil each, and 2-3 drop per kill and the mobs are plentiful and stick around through most of the day in the zone. That's 600-900 gil a kill. Not bad considering you can add that on top of goobbues and golems and whatnot.

Dual boxing is tough.
Basically got twice as much gear, weapons and upkeep to look after.
And I only now hit G1, so things will get even more troublesome with AF and whatnot on the horizon.
On the bright side this will essentially widen the threshold of *** I can kick.

I hadn't really thought about alternatives because lately I've been so snobbish with my gil, and had nothing to spend it on that I've literally been throwing money away on red curry and angons. lol
I meant to save it post-update when gil is relevant again but.. must spend. :X

lol arte i just helped a friend to do that exact quest.. she used a mule to do it though so san d'orians was easy to get then 6 mithra.. a lot easier than she thought!!

Im too busy running around gettng seals and gears for other gear for me to accumulate cruor.. shinryu isnt putting out either so i gave up on him. the stuff i "could" brew (rani, etc) i cba to farm everything esle for it. despite me needing the stuff she drops.
doing bst in my freetime though and gil is needed for them because to be quite frank u can go screw if u think ima make jugs

Unfortunately my elvaan doesn't nearly have enough fame to consider doing this quest on my taru's behalf but I figure once we get the Explorer Moogles, it will be rather easy to get it done.

Yeah there's this thing called Green Dot which works like a regular visa card for online purchases and whatnot. However, you have to pay for it with cash and there's like a $5 activation fee. However, I think you have to pay that activation fee every time you reload it ;/
