The thing that bothers me is it was working completely fine (well, rather erroneously, like always, but still playable) until about 20 minutes ago. I had just FINALLY gotten Spirit Taker on SMN, and had run back to San d'Oria to see what kind of INT/MND gear I could scavenge for it. So I was sitting there chillin' in my MH and decided I'd update my Spellcast to support a worthwhile scripting for it.
I go to reload my SMN.xml after that and then this happens. I don't...think anything I could do in an xml would cause my game to crash, would it?

It can. Rae mentioned something about his spellcast crashing the game sometimes...
Okay, well I'm reinstalling FFXI right now then. Hopefully that will work. If not, I might look into a new PC. Really starting to hate this old one >.> Lol.

Speaking of farming Tissues, what have you found to be the best mobs to farm those on? I'm absolutely sick of Aw'Aerns.
I got all of my tissues from the goldfish and squids. I got like 16 tissues in my storage. @.@

I get one out of every 30 mobs or so and these Aw'Aerns have Reraise and take like 5 minutes to kill each. You do the math.
That being said, I decided to look up drop rates after mentioning it a few minutes ago and noticed Ul'Hpemde seem to have a staggeringly high drop rate. I might give those a try if I get bored. Needz moar Dark Obi.
Yeah. I never, ever, ever farm anything off of the Aerns unless I need Aern organs specifically because of their variety in job changing and RR'ing. Waste of my time. And with atonement, I do a lot of dmg to the goldfish. Just run around as /DNC killing squids and fishies. =3
Well I have a habit for doing things that would benefit me in more than one field if the situation provides.
My thought process went something like this:
1)hm i need better drains lol
2)need a obi plz
3)o cool i can get 300 exp from aerns time to cap buffer
4)Son of a ***. Nothing's *** dropping.
5)No seriously, wtf is the deal it said 10% drop rate and I've killed like 50 and no drop.
-Two hours later-
6)This is getting sickening. -Goes and whines on forums-

/DNC is ***... impossible... to gauge. I rape the main 6 avatars on a daily basis with /DNC now. If it comes to meleeing, I pick PLD/DNC over my MNK or RDM 80% of the time. Drain Samba II + Joyeuse = a lot of HP draining. Joyeuse + shield mastery + reprisal = bad *** TP gain through blocking. Which means a lot of TP to spam curing waltz II. So you get to use MP and TP for self-cures. And you get evasion bonus from /DNC. Gawd. I can't think of ways how it isn't awesome...

That's what I thought, I mean Nin/Dnc is filthy enough, I can't imagine a turtle pld/dnc :x

Hmmm...We need more combat merits, I want to do 4/4 Shield and 8/8 Sword, but I have Gkt(which I will NOT de-merit) and Gaxe and some Eva and Polearm :/

Supp only if you play alot of nin, you can wear other earrings on pld and be fine. As soon as i get ethereal im ditching supp on pld. Honestly hitting the mob on pld shouldnt even be a concern, even if it is 4-6merits will typically solve the problem form most of the nm's you'll tank
