I had that before but not right away when I had got my cell. About a year after, I got phone calls from ppl.
Just annoys me that you get a call and the person calling doesn't say who they are. Phone etiquette would be nice. I got my butt handed to me at work because the boss would call and I never knew it was hime so I treated him like any of the other coworkers.
Yea it bugs me when they go "Who's this!?" and my reply is "You're the one who called me, how bout you tell me who you are!" then it's a "Oh my bad or I'm sorry. I'm <name>." And then tell them "Well wrong number."

I only pick numbers that are somewhat easy to remember. I couldn't help it on the prefix though because AT&T owns those and they didn't want to transfer my Alaska cell number.
Think they said 867 number only exits in a few area codes because of the song. Someone tried selling theirs on eBay last year.

I have t-mobile, I tried to get AT&T but they said I needed to put a deposit of $1,000 to get a cell phone... So went to T-mobile, no credit check and didn't have a deposit to put down.

No I was near Fairbanks. I'm really hoping I can opt out of my phone soon though. I only had to put $125 deposit down for mine to start because of credit. This time around I didn't have to deposit crap, but my phone got wet so I got screwed. Most of these new contracts pretty much cover only manufacturer's defects now.
