If we go under, so do 75% of the world. Why is it that when the USA have a depression, the world has a depression, but when England/France/Japan/China/Korea/South Africa/Germany/Russia/Brazil/Australia/Insert your country has a depression, it doesn't affect anyone OUTSIDE your country?
Believe it or not, we are the main world power now. We are the world's leaders. Obama is called the "most powerful man in the world" for a reason.
His policies are sending us down a path towards destruction and chaos. Nobody is seeing that.
Here's my proof:
He is going to charge insurance companies for being insurance companies. Why? Because they are his competitors. What does this lead? Insurance companies going bankrupt and being killed off for the sole fact that they are insurance companies. When you are BARELY making ends meet, and the government imposes a tax on you just because of who you are (discrimination, which is unconsitutional btw) then you are going to fall.
He is also going to charge up to $3.8k to each FAMILY for not having health insurance. This is going to do 1 of 2 things. Both lead the same path.
1) Causes "poor" people to do the "public option" health plan, which lowers the chance of those said "poor" people (I say poor, because they don't "have" any money to spend on anything outside of beer and cigarretes) for being smart and buying their own health insurance.
2) Causes "smart" people to do the "public option" health plan because its cheaper and they are already paying for it with tax money anyway.
Both roads will cause the above statement to be true. Insurance companies are going to die because of taxes for being insurance companies and for lack of sales because somebody who can be a better competitor will drive them out of business.
So, we are now at the state of a government run healthcare plan (aka the socalist's plan). Is that going to create better service? No. It won't because you are, according to the government's eye, just a number on a waiting list. Is it going to create cheaper service? No. There is no competition out there to lower the service. The government will have a monopoly on the type of healthcare and services provided. That will increase the rates and money lost to the taxpayers because this has to pay for itself.
