You need to ignore the very existence of that Campaign exp thing on the wiki. Its utterly worthlessly out of date. Just forget it was ever there. There are effectively no category caps anymore (I do 7k damage in ten minutes, yet have capped a 3.8k battle, else I'd have done 700 exp plus a few drains), and the exp/min values have been changed twice now not to mention no data on the new medals.

Huge factor is just getting beat up.
When just DDing while someone else tanks, I'll get like 1.5k~2k.
If I'm tanking, then I get about 3~4k, possibly 5k depending how long. (only seen this once, lol)

In the end - get that *** beat. Plds get ridiculous exp.

I has fun on pld/rdm!

Don't have dnc lvld yet -.-;

Exactly. I do plenty good with just doing magic dmg despite what that thing says. Kite nuking stuff on rdm gets crazy amounts oddly enough

Don't get me wrong, I know that chart is basically useless. But it does give a base to work with.

I get crap XP from campaign whether or not I reference that chart.

Why not? I've found that even if you go past the xp/min cap if you just wait for time to catch up it will even out.

Does it?

Say I toss out a divine seal + cure IV/V for 1k+ HP. Of course, that would cap me at 60. If I sit there and do nothing it will raise my xp to 120 at the 2 minute mark?

If you do this in the first minute after getting tags, you get nothing.

But you're damn right it catches up. Everything is tallied and then your exp is capped down based on how long you had tags up, and exp is based on AN. If you earn 1000 AN, at level 75, you'll get 2000 exp if you've had tags up long enough to get that. If you were to manage to do 1000AN worth in five minutes of campaign battle, it would actually cap your exp at 1000, what I call 'brute-forcing' it (I can only really do about 500). If you do that 1000AN worth, and then sit with tags on for 45 minutes doing nothing else, you'll get your 2000 exp.

I'm always so disgustingly capped on DRK I usually fight one mob and then go make a sandwich or something, come back and fight another if the battle is still going, and still wind up 2000 exp and 1300 an.

EXP/AN are not related like this. You earn EXP approximately 2x faster than AN, but they cap at about the same value based on your rank and time spent with tags. The easiest way to tell if you've hit the EXP cap is if you've earned more than half of your EXP in AN.

Personally, I get a bit pissed if I don't cap both values as SAM/DNC because I'm just awesome like that. </ego>

Triple post, FTW

I've also noticed that the next page (blank) is showing up sooner now. Before it was 1 post short. Then it was 2 short. I think we're up to 5-6 posts.

Mine was always 5-6 D: my PC fails.

I'm thinking it's some floating point rounding error when the back end calculates the number of pages. I once thought about bringing it up with the devs, but then again I just assume they're much smarter than me about things like this. :P

Pretty sure it had something to do with Scragg INTENTIONALLY making it another page like that. When this thread got so big it crashed something fierce (I still have the SS in my photobucket I think), it started to tinker with the entire forum part of the site. >_> Ever since he patched it, it's been like that. Slightly irritating, yes. But hey...it fixed a bigger issue. lol

Assuming a page is capped at 25 posts, this one has the next appearing at 10 short.

I know why it does this, and I understand that it's better than the bigger problems. I was just observing that it's appearing sooner.

Maybe it's an auto thing? D: Progressionally earlier as the thread gets bigger. Eventually it's gonna implode upon itself due to being 25 posts back. Then we birth San! xD

I just assumed the last thread crapped out because the forum hit an integer limit with one of the "we'll never need to deal with a thread with more than 32768 posts"-type arguments.

lol... To anyone working in an office / government job / etc. that got yesterday off, it's Monday! Even if it's a Tuesday disguised as a Monday... It still sucks because it's the first day of the work week. >.<!

First day of any work week is a Monday. Now the questions is how many Mondays are we going to have this week? I'm looking to have a week full of them.
