3 day a week full body
A. won't do enough damage or release the TH a natural bodybuilder needs to get optimal results
B. will go past the cortisol window
C. will result in overtraining
the only thing i was implying when i used you as an example is that you don't exactly have a body to strive for
do your workout, be my guest lol, i'm not stopping you

you said that glycogen window is more important than managing cortisol.
a. they're interrelated
b. it's not
not only that, you made the claim like an expert when you didn't know what cortisol was until 20 minutes ago.
point stands.

Full body actually keeps you away from over-training, that's one of the main positive factors about it. How could you possible be over-training if you aren't fatiguing your separate muscle groups anywhere as close to a split? It's not because you aren't.

That's what my brother in law told me, he bodybuilds all the time and sells the stuff for it like protein drinks etc.
I was originally going to work out completely every day and he gave me a huge lecture on how it was bad.
I think sometimes you just have to take the wealth of knowledge provided for you, he knows what he's doing so I'd take his advice.
my 2 cents anyway

now that i understand the science and biomechanics behind lifting i see the light!
(i'd give up too if i accused a dude of being a meathead lifter who didn't understand the science behind lifting and got called out and schooled on it)

That's a pretty ignorant statement Fli.
You do realize that all the body building professionals do different workouts including full body, 4 day 5 day even 6 day splits right? To say what your brother is doing is the best and blindly agree with what Sev is saying is just dumb.

if you train mildly enough that you can recover in 48 hours
you aren't going to do enough damage to the muscle or release enough th to make major progress
you will get stronger and a bit bigger for about 6 months and then you will plateau and wonder why

I didn't say anything about it not being important, I said it is not AS important as the glycogen window in the context of muscle recovery.
Gawd I wish you would read thouroughly and process before you shoot off.
Now let's go back to why this whole thing started, you told Gimme an Weewoo that they were pretty much idiots for not working out how you would. I very much doubt they want to be bodybuilders, so let it go for the love of god they are not wrong just because they don't agree with you.

So yeah in one day you wouldn't release as much for the particular groups, but since you hit the same spots 3 times a week you are making up for the progress. I would think with everything you know you'd understand this simple concept.

Why do you keep bringing up the high reps *** like that's all we say you're supposed to do?
And on a side-note my full body workout I created for myself is only for 2 months. Who knows what I would do afterwords. It still doesn't mean that it doesn't produce just as good results.

yes, a judgment you made while having no idea what cortisol is. brilliant. also, an incorrect judgment
Ramuh.Sagittario said: Hell I don't know a great deal about lifting.
stick to this, truest thing you said. attempting to argue beyond your level of expertise rarely ends well.
i think weewoo, if he decided to start working out, would probably admit talking to me first and getting advice and a routine would be better for him than learning the hard way, even if he didn't want to look like me
it's not matter of him being wrong. it's a matter of using what someone with expertise on a subject knows to your advantage.
if thorny or veg told me i was *** up my job with a piece of gear, i wouldn't start screaming that my goals were different than his or waste time with hurt feelings
i'd use what he knew to my advantage

Obviously not. You talk about being schooled on this matter. ***you don't even know about basic and I mean basic knowledge concerning fat/carb burning ratios at varying aerobic/anaerobic heart rates or you would not be talking ***on rep workouts. You think that just by eating right your skin magically tightens up and fat cells just vanish like magic. You keep spitting out these stupid statements that make me cringe because you sound like you know a fair bit then go and say something that shows you don't know the basics. Idk.
You tell me not to argue outside my area of expertise that's why I'm not arguing about anything weightlifting related. You however are, claiming to know everything even though you don't pratice any of it because you label it bs and your too ignorant to open your eyes. Oh and I know fine well what cortisol is, jesus christ when I'm training 20 hour weeks I need to keep on top of that.

because when sag tried to call me out when i said high reps had very little use
and i refuted him
he had the brilliant idea of telling me that i was a basic lifter who didn't understand the science or biomechanics behind what i was saying.

Overwhelming you with big words and sicentific terms to try and convince you they know what they are talking about despite lacking grip on the basics. A very dangerous combination if you ever take advice from these kind of people. If someone like that can't explain it to you in simple terms it's because they don't know the simple terms themselves.

No I'm pretty sure he knew the basic terms, he just didn't know my level of knowledge. Once I told him that I was an absolute beginner he wrote me out a work out plan that covered the basics.

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.
Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.
We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Update: Sorry Eternaltriumph, too much has changed D: (Page 698)
Eternaltriumph said: Yeah Chuu. Bringing you up to speed, Ludoggy is the LS pedophile. I'm the fountain of random and useless knowledge that makes you go "Hrm" with the occasional side of "holy shit he said what?"
Kungfu is the LS nutjob, spouting super random things that are usually sexist, until Savvy or Alyria comes into the room. Then he's a classic case of sexual harrassment. Rumaha is also true to the second part; we're wondering about his sexuality though.
Daj is Ludoggy's gay lover. Not much else is known about this Asuran. Tairo is kinda new, but since is a female and Alyria's lesbian lover, she fit right in real quick.
Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
