On working out myself.. I think.. I have an exercise band, Medicine ball, lolYoga matt, and a 5lb dumbbell. lol.

I don't know Yoga either. I used to pilates almost religiously.

You know what?

I have gotten more enjoyment out of this couch than I did that ex.

She broke her promises. This futon lets me lay all over it, comfortably watch CNN, and it let my friend Ethan and I have a bonding moment.

Sometimes, you really have to think of life like that.

Sorry, Britt; I don't think you're worth the care anymore. I've got a futon now.

Yeah, I may just get straight back into Pilates. I used to do it, until just moving whatsoever hurt. And I did it every day.

is a partner

it's difficult to stick to a routine on your own

that or double up on two smaller muscle groups the next day

the thing i like about my M-F 5 day split

is that if we can't both make one day

we can skip it and just work out saturday instead

which i have to do tomorrow, actually ><

I know it's not good to workout too much without proper rest otherwise you're just doing yourself a disservice.

your body is going to be releasing cortisol full force by 45 minutes in

so it's optimal to get in and out in under an hour, which makes it difficult to do more than one muscle group

plus i think it is difficult to truly fry your muscles to the point of failure if you are "saving your strength" for another muscle group

Well you're not supposed to save your strength in a full body workout. Basically how mine is set up, I do a weight for each body part that I wont be able to finish the last couple reps by myself, that way I know I'm fatiguing my muscles enough to get rest and do the same 2 days from then.
