I was so opposite. I was a failure in school up until the.. 8th or so grade? I hated school and never did very well..
Valedictorian and 4.0 HS..
I dunno.. I think my parents problems, FIXED me. XD
I would have much preferred that as there were no significant consequences that early in life. Failing HS puts a damper on your future, that's for sure.
But oh well, angst happens I guess.

I had to graduate. My father never did, but he was lucky enough to grow up in a time where you could still easily get a factory job without one.
With that and probable guilt, I did what I had to. Though I did fail a few classes and skated by with liek 1 extra credit total. :/ lol
I pretty much estranged myself from everybody so school, home, life in general didn't really exist for me. I simply passed by in the moment and then reality hit me like a brick.
Now it's just a manner of fulfilling obligations and trying not to take one step forward and two steps back.

Not like grades really acurately reflected anything other than your ability to get the teacher to like you and BS. Outside of math, first couple years of a foreign language and sometimes some sciences of course

Ok so..... I started the RMA process for my motherboard today right.... I was talking to one of the customer service dudes for Asus who set up my case. I flat out told him that 2-4 of the gold pins in the first PCI socket were squished down into the middle and he still set up the RMA process right.
So then I go to read on what I have to do for the whole process when I read this on Asus' site :

Also don't have to memorize if you just learn it. Unless of course it is something that is pure memorization at least at first. See foreign languages

Yeah I dont know where you went to school but 4.0 is the highest you can get. And while I did get along with my teachers, I never cheated or BS'd my way through HS.

It's going to be really *** shitty if my warranty is void lol..... You think I should just try to send the ***back in and act clueless and hope for the best? Lol
