I'm working on Buffalo next if Ram 50 REALLY does unlock the Buffalo. I will report later if he unlocks anything.

I didn't see it mentioned in the variants, but besides unlocking the Byakko "quest" at lv. 50, Tiger at 50 also unlocks the Smilodon variant.

It's already up there. The Smilodon is the same as Tiger, but it gives access to Disorienting Wail.

Idk if its been mentioned in here but you do get all your merited stuff at the same normal times you get them on a normal job. So you get your stat merits as you lvl and at Lv75 you unlock the job specific ones. Sadly you cant use any JAs but passive merits like Double attack + and magic merits like AM2 still work.

If anyone have a Twilight Cloak and a BLM mob high enough to use it I'm wondering if you can unlock Impact.

Strange but it seems monsters learn moves they would otherwise not have in the game. At 40 my Ladybug learned Spiral Burst, full erase of all detrimental effects and fire dmg. They might aswell as not bothered with the fire dmg tho as it't like 100 dmg at lvl40. Tried with many debuffs to see if it increased but no such luck. Also, on a side note, the fly doesn't unlock anything at 50.

Monsters get access to TP moves that have been traditionally used only by NMs or event monsters.

Seems someone is bullshitting or there is more to the unlock than just raptor 50. What other monster levels/unlocks/purchases do you have asakari?

It means they're large. White: Medium None: Small.

However, yes, blue box (large) monsters have limited prowling areas regardless of what they are. A Dhalmel and a Wamoura and a Bugard all have the same limitations.

tbh I've never paid attention if small/medium have any differences.

The size determines their HP.

I'd guess that Gold box will be for the legendary size, behemoth, adamantoise, etc. hopefully the prowl area list doesn't shrink anymore as its a bit of a pain in the arse for large

Ladybug unlocks Gold version at 50 for 7500 points. Gold one is a rdm version with an extra TP move. Searing Effulgence: 180TP AoE Light dmg. Around 300% dmg with no MAB, additional effect strong dia, about 1% dmg/tick on lvl55 mobs from dia, not so bad I guess~
