Considering coming back
Kind of in this spot also. Most of my really good friends have quit for good. I never really cared about have the best of things. What I did care about was having fun with my friends. Well I guess I could take a chance on making new ones.
Day 4> Did some more practicing; did some job changes, saw where I had left my armor sets, did some Training Regime to make sure I remembered combat (weaponskills and stuff). Have to redo macros, and remember how do make them :)
Game wise, the big problem I see is that anything I hadn't done I still can't do. Any little thing that I hadn't done at the time I still can't (example, finishing assault missions as they require 3 people and no one does them; same with walk of echoes, same with dynamis, same with Nyzul, same with Limbus(well, I suppose I could solo for the drops to make +1 AF but..um..whatever)).
That leaves the new stuff, which is solely the expansion (I have heard that there is "Salvage 2" and Einjeryar2, but if you aren't already in a group, you aren't going to get in one)...then there is the new stuff.. where as near as I can see (and tell me if I am wrong), if you are not already in it, you can't get in it as no one does the 'low level stuff' , and the 'mid level stuff' requires that you have 'top level stuff' equipment already or you are just wasting space and increasing the chance of failure.
And, as it is, they would only let you in if you have that one job with that one thing capped and that one equipment, otherwise you are worthless to them?

So it appears that anything 'old' that I had not already done I can't do now, and anything 'new' I can't do because I haven't done it already?
