Blue Mage spells by area
Wish I had found this a long time ago. Would have saved me some time.
http://bluspellguide.com/Default.aspx Looks fairly nice. Well formatted but it is missing a lot of data in the spells by area page. Hopefully they continue to add mobs/spell listings in various zones. I imagine this will help people out in quickly jumping from area to area to learn.
Nice ty!
I've recently picked up BLU again after rage quitting (BLU that is) trying to learn Geist Wall years ago.
I've just been doing them in level order as they're listed on the wiki. To keep it organized in my head. I've jumped forward for a few. Magic Fruit, Battery Charge, The 2 big ones to make Auto-Refresh trait easy etc. And even accidentally learned Mortal Ray going for Frightful Roar. Feels weird to be enjoying BLU after it drove me crackers years ago. Blue Mage Hunt Grounds
Another good site that I used years ago. Pretty well detailed for camps and such. Ragnarok.Ravant said: » Blue Mage Hunt Grounds Another good site that I used years ago. This site (the OP's link) is constantly getting updated by the way--I have helped give suggestions and point out a few missing spells. So if you have suggestions, they will not go unanswered. I see no sensible reason to not use Abyssea areas for everything that has a related mob in there that uses any particular spell tbh.
This is assuming that people have just burned BLU to 99 like I did. And spammed blue magic skill up in wherever. Again Abyssea is easy on any DC mob. Though I personally just use the DC crabs in Vunkerl [S] because they're pretty harmless, always DC so you can cap anything on them, AND I have a second account RDM PL to sit there curing me, thus saving time curing myself. (and a Liminus earring which probably helps. Who knows?) In Abyssea learning spells I go BLU/DNC for the free erase healing waltz. Atmas are Minikin + Mounted Champ + Voracious Violet (purely for the regain. Anything would do here tbh.) And just find the appropriate mob camp and pull em and wait, spamming Bludgeon tbh. I'm half way there in a few days. So it's working for me. |
