got tojil down to 10% again today, what a rude ***.
i know there are some geos/whms/schs out there looking for a good LS!

WHM must have proper gear sets (Fast Cast, Enhancing skill/Barspell, Cure Spellcasting-, Haste/appropriate sets for things like Sacrifice/Cursna/Erase, Cure Potency +50% (even better if you can achieve Cure Potency+50% and Enmity -50 with Af3+2 body and Af3+2 legs which I'm pretty sure is easy enough?) and be comfortable healing high-pressure fights. We have enough melee-only WHMs, don't even think about it! (Went to quote this but something about a node came up D:)
Urr, really don't want to work on a capped pot/emn- set. Is it mainly for the mega bosses this shines? In my current cure set I'm at about 49% (Marduk tiara can blow me at this point) and about -10/12 emn and seem to be ok.
When people ask for it, I always think well I wouldn't get in and don't even try. (My WHM is far from perfect but like to think there isn't much it can't handle acceptably)

Yes, if an unlucky incinerating lahar gets off, you can pretty much expect to pull hate on a WHM since each hit pretty much wipes a dds hate. Spamming curagas builds hate fairly quickly.
Curaga's should have a different set anyway. (Much easier to cap pot and emn- in, as Orision +2 body does not effect curaga's and still work on the old MND formula) So that would be less trouble about sorting. Was talking single cures when I asked. (Sorry if I was vague)
Also, sorry to be off topic. Good luck with the recruiting =) Just I see this coming up more and more and wondered about it.
I don't know much about WHM other than how to effectively smash things in the face with a hammer and that Accession or Yagrush + Divine Caress + Orison +2 hands is absolutely amazing, but I do know that for fracture Naakuals you're going to want to retard your enmity gain as much as possible :x

And also that a truly amazing WHM that isn't also needed on one of their other amazing jobs for a specific event is also a unicorn :(
Isn't Heretic one of your whm's? If not that may be the issue. Was amazing all the times I played with him.
Heretic is in our shell, and yes he's the one of two WHMs to whom I would give a AAA rating (the other being Horga on Bismarck)

I'm not sure why you guys are having enmity issues on Tojil, to be honest. O-o These are the cure sets I run with for the entire run and I have zero enmity issues.
This includes times where all the DDs get hit with Lahar and I'm trying to keep them topped off as best as possible and give them cureskin to survive the apocalypse that happens after the move. Are your WHMs perhaps not capped on healing skill? That's the only explanation I can think of ATM.

I wasn't aware that you are able to maintain less enmity than dead people. Good job!
It's not the biggest issue; it is something to be aware of if a Lahar gets through and people drop. This is only relevant if a PLD isn't present, of course.

Ah, that makes more sense then. To be fair, if all your DDs are dead, I don't think any amount of -enmity is gonna save you there anyway =p
Our WHM doesn't have too much of a problem with enmity. Even if a Lahar does go off, he never grabs hate. It's always the BRD or RDM or other WHM. THough from transferring from Fenrir to Quetz, I would agree with Heretic being an absolutely amazing WHM.
EDIT: DD's should be rocking +HP gear and -PDT gear during weakness...one DD (mnk) tanks without any problem from Boost, Voke, Warcry, etc. Once a DD is unweak, he takes over tanking. Been the easiest way for us so far.

You don't say? Such useful things that we never thought of before.
It's not like we have this gaping problem of WHM taking hate, but like, it does happen occasionally after a Lahar (seeing as Lahar also flatlines DPS for various reasons), capping -enmity in your curaga set is easy, so if I'm requiring DDs to have microimprovements in their sets, why should I not require the same of my primary support positions?

sounds like you need better stunners :X
Our stunners are fine, they never miss stun on things like inferno/tremor/mist. It's just that we get the occasional lag spike during Tojil and that 1 unlucky stun goes through... which always happens to be during Lahar. In our 3 attempts last night, only 1 stun was "missed" but a couple more got through cause we were about 8 min in and it lahar'd right as it knocked down the m. eva luopan
/comfort! Kick the girl from new york and your lag will all be sorted! :)

Thanks for all the feedback guys =) I haven't had a chance to tackle a delve frac boss (busy times :() and more information is always appreciated. My question was from a single cure stand point to start though as I love my healers mitts+1 a bit too much.
Curaga's are 1000x easier to sort capped pot/emn- on =') (will just have to jiggle it around a bit for more -emn)
