Playing FFXI In Remote

Hi.
Well for some time ive been trying to find some way to play FFXI when im not in home. At work, when im not busy. But the pc here dont allow installing softwares. So my only option at work is my ipad.
Supposing we cant run FFXI natively in ipad, the best option i found to play is the logmein, where i can play remotely. But, like always, im having issues. The keyborad in ipad isnt turbo, so i need to constantly hit the ipad to my char walk ridicously slow.
So im askisng if someone have the same problem. If there is a way to turbe the keyboard turbo. Or if there is some options in FFXI that make char auto run with one button (seems joke but i just cant make the combination direction + lock running in ipad).
If someone can play FFXI, please tell me what device and software that can do you play decently, at least to do boring stuffs like farming nm for trials, etc.
