Like i said, prayer doesnt cure cancer.
Unfortunately it has. Mind you the rate is low. But even being Jewish, I think I would try Lourdes before radical surgery.
Not long before....

People spontaneously recover from cancer without praying - so until you can prove a mechanism then all you can say is that "some people who prayed spontaneously recovered from cancer" Humanity didn't deserve these kids. Maybe one day, when we're not such ***.

You can believe in your faith medication when you're dying, but don't kill someone else with it. Send me to a hospital if I'm bleeding to death on the ground, don't start praying.
I can totally understand putting your faith in god and praying... but cover all your bases. put your faith in mankind as well... Get the appropriate medical care and keep on praying. I do believe and I know that there are many others that trust in the power of prayer... It can truly help heal the mind body and soul. These parents should not be allowed to procreate.
This thread is just sad.. I need a drink now.
If God is supposedly all-knowing and the almighty creator, then he kinda... created modern medicine. ...and gays. ...and liberals.

In retrospect, what are they doing that 3 of their children got bacterial pneumonia in different years? (I think i might have been pneumonic ONCE in my life if not twice).

The faithful can point to actual living people who can truthfully say "I prayed and God cured me". I think a few of these are paraded around the fundamentalist circuit. Sounds like plain old ignorance to me. Sins said: » "I don't know how it happened and don't care to try and find out, so, magic." Sounds like plain old ignorance to me. You don't understand. They don't need knowledge, they have faith. By the 20th page we get it already. Moving along now...
