Neo Nyzul Post-SoA

I have only ran NNI for 2 runs in it's entire existence and it was on my gimp DRK. BST is my main (hence getting my Guttler) and I am wanting to do more content than just soloing Abyssea mobs.

The point of this post is to ask other BST (R/E/M or not) if your server/statics allow for BSTs to participate in any endgame type content and how you play in these roles. I am interested in finding a LS willing to take me for events, but that's only if BST is as worthwhile in a group setting as I believe mine is.

Define "end game" >_>. You're not going to have as much luck if you're looking to do tougher content such as Legion, Einherjar 2 or perhaps some of the newer content because of the fact that once your pet gets ripped to shreds (and they will even with full -dt gear) you'll end up a sub par DD in comparison to the other more appealing DD options (Are you going to carry 1000 mulsums with you lol). Who knows though, maybe one of the Nakuaals are BST SMN friendly and you can get in on that. Don't take my comments to heart though, I don't even have an EGLS. Maybe someone here plays BST a lot and can offer you better advice. BST has always been my second favorite class though :D.

we lack significant attack to be a part of most of the end game contents as a DD. the game has taken a turn toward semi low man group events such as neo limbus and neo salvage. These events are events that a bst could go to but there are better alternatives. A bst does well in NNI but any DD does well since its a 90% fodder. Ive won a few times as a bst.

I have a guttler, full phorcy and several gear sets for situations but i never get to/want to go as a bst.

we wont be apart of any ADLs, odin V2,Prov runs, and any other end game events that require heavy DD in high buff situations.

nor legion.

"Are BSTs Welcome in endgame events?" Probably would have been a more accurate title.
