It's zerg or => these days. updated (again lol).

This is all with capped skill (373x2=746) Potency: Poison = -30HP/tick Slow = 10% Paralyze = 10%~ activation rate (I cast 100 spells back to back, 9 were paralyzed) Indi-Frailty defense down = -13% (-33/256) Geo-Frailty defense down = -13% (-33/256) Geo-Frailty + Ecliptic Attrition = -15.8% (-40/256) Geo-Frailty + Blaze of Glory = -18.8% (-48/256) Geo-Frailty + Ecliptic Attrition + Blaze of Glory = -22% (-56/256) Geo-Frailty + Bolster = -25% (-65/256) (Further testing on the - attack luopan needs to be carried out, I'm too cheap to buy it) Attack Bonus = +12.5% (32/256) Defense Bonus = +17% (44/256) Refresh = 5MP/tick Regen = 30HP/tick Stat Buff = 20+STR/VIT/etc Luopans: Luopan HP = ~1380HP (I cast 50 AOE nukes and worked out % dmg done, multiplied it out to get 100%. Was accurate for all within 30HP) Luopans have no elemental alignment (Aeroga was doing 94dmg regardless of luopan element, also tested with other elements to be certain) They have a 6.4' AOE buff range~ they last for 3.5min (70 ticks), with 20HP/tick decay (around 1.4k max HP at capped skill). Dematerialize is complete damage shield - neither magic, physical or DOT AOE would harm. Bolster: Ecliptic Attrition and Blaze of Glory dont work with Bloster.~ it just doubles the potency of all spells with no other possible modifiers than Geomancy/Handbell skill. Ecliptic Attrition + Blaze of Glory: These stack when Bolster is not active. Attrition decreases the Luopans time span from 210 (70 ticks) to 170 (57 ticks)~ 20% increase in HP consumed (20HP up to 24HP). Ecliptic Attrition increases potency by ~+20% and Blaze of Glory by ~+40%. Cardinal Chant: Distance from mob plays no part in potency, can cast from any direction at max distance and still get the same buff bonus as being 2' away from a mob. True W (MAB): 12.5+ MAB~ True W (MAB) + Collimated Fervor: 20+ MAB (60% MAB increase from JA (154/256)) True NW: (50% MAB/50% Cast Time): 6.3+ MAB~ True N (Cast Time): Around 10% cast time down, will have to test further. Will test Fervor more to confirm, but from MAB tests it played out~ As you move round the compass the potency will increase one boost, and decrease the other. Will have to test further to see if it has cut off points for each %~ If anyone wants anything else tested either send me a PM or a /tell ingame. hey gavvy i was wondering what would be the regen/refresh be at for geo if its being a SJ ??
would it be just as a GEO49 or would there be more penalties to it? It would be the same as a GEO49 that has no Handbell equipped. It would take into consideration the Geomancy skill only~ You also can't use Luopans as a subjob, and are restricted to Collimated Fervor as your only SJ job ability.
139 Geomancy skill only = Refresh: 1MP/tick Regen: 7HP/tick Attack: +4% (10/256) Edit; This is Gavvy Ok, I guess im getting confused with the discussion of cardinal chant with this "west of the mob" stuff...there is no "west" of the mob, west is west, east is east, north is north, etc...
so it sounds like the effects happen when you cast left, right, head on, tail on of the mob? or am i completely missing something? People need to stop caring about Cardinal Chant and worry about something relevant:
Quote: We need to test further to see if they just apply two statuses or if the statuses actually stack in effect since apparently having both poisons visible didn't do anything extra according to someone else. My SCH mule isn't high enough to use Indi-Frailty, which is the only spell where I could actually tell if there was a difference visually between debuffs ( Def down and Def Down + Geo Def down). Someone could clear this up in 2 minutes in Brenner with a GEO, a BLU, and a crash test dummy. Assuming Frailty and Def down stack, we'd need to determine if they multiply (like dia, def down, and steps) or if it adds to the def down term (like having multiple sources of +Att%). Think of the mob as a central point on the compass.
If you stand north of the mob, you're in the north. If you stand east of the mob, you're in the east. If you stand south of the mob, you're in the south. If you stand west of the mob, you're in the west. You could be in the furthest south point of a map and all of this will still be true. It's relative to the mob geographically, nothing to do with where the mob is facing etc. So if you want MAB bonus. Target the mob, get yourself into it's western region. Line yourself up (you'll technically be facing east if you're looking at the mob) and nuke! People apparently need compass directions explained to them, are you sure they know how to find Brenner?

Through my testing, Frailty stacks fine with Angon and Dia 3. I haven't been able to test with a BLU or DNC yet, but I'm assuming that they'll stack fine. I've been waiting for my other GEO99 friend to log on so we can test the culmative effects of Indi spells. Unfortunately the majority of my testing as been me 2/3boxing and the accounts don't have alot of flexibility in jobs. I had to look it up on wiki <.>!
...how to enter Brenner, not the compass directions. Do you think you can figure out if it Multiplies or adds? Also could you do reraise recast with slow vs. indi-slow + slow?
Shouldn't be a mega issue~ all of the buffs/debuffs so far have been taken from the floor value and stacks on.
Multiplying or adding ends up being a pretty big difference mathematically!
People are doing level 30 cap Brenner for the next 20min on Asura so I'll enter when I can and let you know what I come up with~
You can't use indi-frailty in 30 cap ;-;
Yeah, so I'll enter when I can do uncapped lol.
Tell the people in Brenner to GTFO or I hate them.
Anyway, it's easy enough to figure out just report: Normal defense Def with BLU spell (Or other source of def down) only applied Def with GEO aura defense down only applied Def with both def down and geo aura defense down applied Fenrir.Sylow said: » Tell the people in Brenner to GTFO or I hate them.
