Wished Rune Fencer could use Ridill.
I wished RUN could use a wider variety of swords, seeing as it's an A rank skill they have.

I was disappointed in their sword selection. Thinking Bihkah Sword (+1) x2 might be one of the better setups. Once prices go down on the new ore they should become fairly common. Assuming SE doesn't release something new. Still can do a decent RUN/NIN Req build for when you need to specialize in bypassing monsters with -PDT.
Never gotten any sword ws to touch ruinator tho...
Requiescat is only useful for things that resist physical damage cause it can bypass the resistance.
Jsut for clarification about added effects on weapons, since it was discussed on the previous page. They have nothing to do with which effect comes from a main or sub job. It's just which effect overwrites the other. A dnc/rdm with Enfire will get Enfire and not Sambas if both are up. And Twilight Scythe's Death couldn't proc with Sambas up. So there is a hierarchy that has nothing to do with main vs sub jobs.

its a bit of a shame runes overwrite sambas, could get the resistance, the samba buff, and an easy way out of dealing magic dmg on mobs that absorb it

I had totally forgotten about the order of effects for weapon enhancements when I mentioned the Def Down GS. Good call guys. Looks like I'll need to invest in another sword instead.
So a PDT- GS will be nullified if I have runes up? I know that I still get trial credit for a GS with runes up.
PDT- isnt an additional effect on the GS unless you are talking about def down then yes its nullified.

I'm talking about a Tenebreuse with VIT/PDT-. I figured Def Down was just a bad term for PDT- everyone was using.
Here's a question, tho; would runes cancel a Borealis WS DMG effect? It's neither Added effect nor an Augmentation.

Borealis is safe because it's for ws and isn't an added effect.

runes only effect additional effects, where it actually says additional effect, it wouldnt mess with oat, ws or weapon stats

Apparently they do absolutely nothing all day on Valefor.
The only shouts I see every day now is Ig-Alima from various people. I also see Akvan but that's lead by Kurognashi.

Basically yeah though I'm not sure SE would beat out another Bhink over all. Still it's a special purpose config just for bypassing PDT since the runes effect and lunge are magic damage anyway.
I know that haste gear would be good for the timers on spells but I was wondering, would RUN get any benefit from fast casting gear? I have some from when I played SCH but Im thinking of selling it.
