I wouldn't recommend using Reso with trusts cos more than likely you aren't attack capped and Resolution has a -15% attack penalty which really hurts if you aren't attack capped.
This is why when I solo in my videos I always use Dimidiation unless I can't SC due to mechanics.
The sets I posted above are what I use, but you can use it as guidance of how to gear it.

I have a pretty basic Lua you're welcome to use or cannibalize: https://pastebin.com/h12CLJyq
It doesn't auto-apply anything, including runes, but it does have a system for cycling through up to 3 rune elements which I find makes life a lot easier.

Cape augments will vary upon your build. But something along the lines of HP +60, eva/meava +20, meva +10, enm +10, and pdt -10 or parry +5

I have. My "standard" pure tanking set is
Epeo/Alber/-/Staunch +1
Megh +2/Loricate/Ethereal/Genmei
Futhark +1/Turms +1/Moonlight/Defending
Ogma (Parry)/Flume +1/Erilaz +1/Turms +1
It's got a good amount of room for improvement, but it fits in 50% (75%) PDT, max Inquartata/Parry rate, and Turms +1 hands.

New audumbla waist will make easier to cap both pdt and sid when youre casting.
Rip rumination sash.

Out of curiosity, why the alber strap, the gear in your other slots is already 50% PDT? Enmity?
Edit: Possible alts
Utu grip 70 HP
balarama grip 50 HP 3 enmity
irenic strap +1 15 meva -5 MDT
mensch strap +1 -5 PDT (Drop Meg Visor)

Was writing on the PLD thread and noticed Banishga is lvl 30, so we would get it from /PLD.
RUN/PLD would get Banishga, Sentinel, Cure 3 and some other stuff.
I'm a big advocate for /DRK on RUN, but we might have a candidate.

One downside of Banishga is that it has a casting time of approximately 37 seconds. Something to consider.
Edit: I started my Banishga cast at 1:37PM EST and it's progress bar is still at 67%. So whatever that math comes out to.

This my current set of choice for tanking with PDT-10 on cape:
*3055 HP & 76% PDT
ItemSet 355625
A quick adjustment to the set to allow parry on cape:
*2917 HP & 74% PDT
ItemSet 370098

I like it when there's a strategic advantage to starting a fight with Sentinel (either to hate spike or have additional DT for a dangerous pull). Outside of that, there's little reason to use it.

Looking to tweak my utility sets, are there any other pieces out there that I'm overlooking (besides Regal Gauntlets) that will have an effect on Regen & Refresh duration/level? Here's what I'm rocking so far:
Code sets.midcast['Regen'] = set_combine(sets.midcast['Enhancing Magic'], {
head="Rune. Bandeau +3",
neck="Sacro Gorget",
legs="Futhark Trousers +3",
})
sets.midcast.Refresh = set_combine(sets.midcast['Enhancing Magic'], {
head="Erilaz Galea +1",
waist="Gishdubar Sash"
legs="Futhark Trousers +3",
})

I'm confused. You have an Epeo, why stop at Futhark Coat +1? I can't imagine Dynamis clears are in your way.

Good Morning, I have decided to take up Rune and was wondering if anyone could say that the guide is up to date on gearing? I will be doing Epeo since I already have access from doing Idris. Thank you for any help. Time to look for a gear swap lua.

Front page here is not. This one would be a better place to start.

Does anyone know if su5 path c can be equipped during regen being casted on you. Then changed afterwards? Does changing remove the potency you received?

Haven't heard it tested, but I would doubt the effect is removed if you swap weapons. No other Regen Potency Received effects work that way, including Sacro neck. I joked with a RUN that you could build an eilte regen set for yourself if you didn't mind using a high priced weapon as a swap >_>

Its definitely taking min/maxing to the extreme lol

Speaking of which, I saw a PLD equipping Phalanx gear then asking a rdm for phalanx 2 yesterday doing an HTB. I've never done this before as I've always only ever used my own Phalanx set to cast on myself. Is this something we should be doing?

Before fights, I typically pop Embolden and have a RDM Phalanx II me while in my Phalanx gear if I don't plan on using it for Temper. If I have to recast mid-fight I just use my own, though.

Sure why not :DD. Pricy minmaxing, but hey
Here's a RUN Regen potency/Received set when you're not getting a SCH or WHM Regen:
ItemSet 370264
Potency 22%
Received 25%

My guess is the PLD was asking the higher enhancing magic skill RDM to cast Phalanx to make sure they get the max damage reduction bonus from the spell. Both Phalanx 1 & 2 cap the same and use same formula. PLD gets D in Enhancing Magic Skill while RDM is B+, so he'll have a harder time hitting the skill requisite to make the most of the spell. Asking a RDM to do it is more damage reduction I'm assuming.
A RUN might not need to do this, since they get a much higher skill and can probably gear for the cap easier than a PLD could, but as Sterk brought out, it's a good pair with something like Embolden and RDM's Phalanx II

RDM cast Phalanx II also last for freaking ever, and a PLD's(and RUN's) Phalanx set is likely one of their weakest sets defensively. So not having to recast phalanx for a long time is a defensive benefit.
Also I'm pretty sure RUN can't hit 500 skill on phalanx either since all the primary slots are taken by phalanx+ gear, so they should benefit in terms of potency by having phalanx II cast on them as well.
