I bought the expansion through Amazon and i gotta say, it was breeze, the entire process (including the update patch from FFXI itself i downloaded/installed just now) took less than half an hour, what a relief to get that outta the way so painlessly (big patch days RARELY are anything but smooth sailing for me). I got mine through Amazon as well, and it was really smooth. The only issue that I had was getting an "expansion data not installed" warning after I installed and registered the codes last night. I haven't checked today yet, so hopefully that's fixed.
The expansion isnt released yet so you will get that message even if you have installed seekers
Doesn't matter. Once extracted, run setup.exe inside the Inst6 folder
That download link works if you got just the expansion but what about the CE?

well SE might have forgotten to give us a download link but they also forgot to charge my cc for the expansion but still emailed me a registration code for my mule, Ty SE i will take one free copy.

My client claims the xpac isn't installed, I thought I installed it, if I didn't how do I install it?

Mine is installed just use Krizz' link and be done with the whole thing lol took like 45 secs

So basically what im readin is if we got the PC dl off SE site(aka digital river w/e) we cant even dl yet? i got the registration codes and activated it already but ive yet too see an option/link to where they expect me to dl the expansion.

I didnt get ultimate collection, just the expansion part. which link is which (' 3 ')
Doesn't matter, if you DL the ultimate collection and have the rest installed it just installs the expansion.
oh well then, guess ill check it out o.o
The Ultimate collector just comes with codes for ingame items nothing else if im not mistaken
all i do is click it and thats it?

The code will also activate all other expansions and add-ons if you need them.
Not sure what happens to the code if you just activate Seekers; as in, I don't know if you can like, go on to activate the non-Seekers expansions and add-ons for a mule account with the code after using it once to activate Adoulin.
the in-game version update only downloaded 1 file (is that normal?) after using the download link here (which added ROM9)

They have wires crossed somewhere. I ordered off amazon and se store sent my music box promo code for pre ordering off se site.

I don't know why you were worried in the first place; the expansion won't be live for another 24 hours or more?
Because I'm no semblance of tech savvy and didn't want to *** up my game. Not to mention brand new laptop. lol
