Another Gear Thread!

Dinged 99 last night, my first 99 job too btw. I'm not well versed in Abyssea. Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions on what i can replace my lolperle with.

Bear in mind BST is my first 99 job, i'm not gonna be able to stick AF3+2s or Skadi or Phorcys gears on immediately. So what can i use as placeholders til I get the best gear? Preferably affordable too, I don't really wanna spend 1.1mil on brego gloves to find i'll replace them in a week.

Have alot of friends that bst was their first too. Most of them either brought a blm with them or soloed all their seals. The draclaw w/e his name in mamook drops nice gloves for pdt.
I know the ah has random cheap haste and str pieces for tp/runiator. Until you get empy gear though ur pearl might just suffice for now.

Luckily, i just managed to upgrade my Ferine Head to +1 with the help from my ls. Looks kinda silly with the rest of my Perle tbh!

it takes time no worries. Have you got Ducal Guard atma? very important for bst.

I haven't got it yet, no. I've looked into it, I reckon some of the dominion ops required could be soloable. If I get bored of doing add-on missions, i might try tonight.

This sets fairly easy to get. Just ask your ls when they do orthrus for atheling. Leg seals are pretty easy to solo with ducal guard and razed ruins when you get them so is bullwhip belt. Rajas/brutal are a easy solo through cop.

Yeah, I'll get DG and then on to soloing AF3+1 and +2s then.
