spreadsheets have a lot of problems when trying to calculate effective dps, simulations are vastly superior.. the problem is not many people are dedicated enough to write a simulation so people are accustomed to using the spreadsheets
without personally looking at pchan's simulation, i can't speak to it's accuracy, but i would trust austar to look over it properly so odds are that is correct

i can only look at it on mobile with pythonista i might have missed something. currently no elemental belt and waist ability but it can be added easily even if you don't know any python

damage atm is vereth > spharai > godhands > glanz
personally making spharai because omen and albumen are 2 of the things i'm likely to bring mnk to and the counter seems pretty handy for what's really not a huge damage difference (plus aby-tahrongi is horrible)

They aren't. It's Vere -> God Hands -> Spharai / Glanz (don't think the AM3 is that useful so maybe lower). Relic effect only procs on the first attack of the main fist and GH's TP Bonus, Store TP and higher base DMG push it ahead by a fair bit.

Changes to MNK could be "Hidden/additional effects proc on 2nd hand - would probably keep vere where they are, but what would happen to Glanz?

Well SE deciding to treat H2H as either DW or 2H would be a good start. Currently they get the worst of both worlds without the benefits of either. Personally wish they would just treat them as 2H, let MNK's wear the grips and treat every punch as a main hand punch.

Glanzfaust seems essentially dead to me atm. I think my MNK TP set has like 36% TA so like... why even bother? Also yeah Godhands in general just seem like a better choice because of lack of paying for it and ease of building. If they fix MNK WS dmg I could see it pulling ahead of vere too

I'm anticipating it to be a removal of JA delay from Boost, like they did for PUP maneuvers in December of 2014.
I'm hoping it'll be some backasswards way of fixing WS DMG.

What grip would you use? Would they have to be Mnk specific or anything atm worth using? New Item in sub slot would be nice to think about HP+ resist + etc

Oh my, the monks are getting optimistic about their lot in life. This is SE! Barrance is their motto. Minimal work for tiny changes that make the rest of us go nuts.
#1 Boost gives WSD instead of attack - fix low WS damage (hello howling fist).
#2 H2H weapons have higher delay - fix h2h delay.
#3 Moar kick attacks on gear... - fix muti attack.
SE will pat themselves in the back for a job well done. Sam are gonna sub Mnk. Drk will contemplate on the possibilities. Mnk is going back to the bottom row.
