I could see some people using Pillager's Vest and Culottes for the extra TA and Crit DMG, need to get Dual Wield elsewhere though and THF already has a ***ton of TA so STP may be more useful. I could see Petrov beating out Hetairoi too.
Cape should be stp on mastered thf also need telos earring, and swap the daggers around, also I forgot the name but the stp ring from the t1 in sky is better than heta ring
Adhemar body and master gives you capped dual wield for the delay on the 2 weapons picked
hah i have maybe 30 JP on thf so would DA be better for now?
Than yeah go with DA, only costs a 1000 points for needle to change it at a later date

Now that the first new Dynamis area is out Plundrer's Poulaines +3 looks like the new best in slot TP piece, and more than likely evisceration as well. Rudra's is still herc for now with 5% WSD and dex/atk augs.
Herc will should still pull ahead due to the 6 ta on them, so mehe, but I need to test it. But I believe 6ta will win
Also herc are not bis for rudras either

This is what I use, but I think I just use the Zhudac ammo because I'm lazy/stingy.
Does anyone have a waltz set I could have a look at?

Depending on augments Herculean body could be better. Mine has: 'STR+9','DEX+8','Weapon skill damage +8%','Accuracy+20 Attack+20','Mag. Acc.+11 "Mag.Atk.Bns."+11'. We recently had a long DM campaign.

When it's boosting fTP but ~.5 across several hits, they're incredible. Adding .1 to a WS you're probably using at ~10, not as much

I know they don't because they're not consistent. I only pointed it out because the person posting set didn't share their augments and person suggesting replacement didn't ask.
If we're gonna bring in DM then technically 5/5 BIS is dm aug.
One a related note on herc:
while fern will give you more common -usable- augs,
dex15/wsd4 would be better than dex10/wsd5.
Grunfeld Rope, wanion, or artful+1 are bis belt for rudra depending on your attack.

im atm in a mix of bayld (Schendie +1) and alluvian skirmish gear.
and will probably be farming that for a while before mvoing on.
Any advice on gearsmix /augments at this level?
perhaps what stuff from escha T1 or T2 to get ?
Is there any plasma gear still i should bee looking at as well?

How does a karieyh ring +1 augmented with 4% weaponskill damage compare to Ilabrat ring in your BiS rudra's setup?

Rawhide Vest is pretty good and drops off a T1 Zi'tah NM, IIRC.
Jovian hands, Petrov Ring, Caro Necklace and Grunfeld Rope are also T1 in Ru'Aun.
Delve earrings (Bladeborn, Dudgeon, Heartseeker and Steelflash) aren't too shabby. Asperity Necklace is still useful too. Izhiikoh is a pretty good dagger, if you don't already have something better.
If you are able to get Vagary clears, Empy Head 119 is fantastic. And do the quest line for Erudition Neck.

I thought as much. I also use ishvara earring instead of Sherida's for rudras. If 4%wsd is slightly better than 10 dex and 25 attack then surely 2% wsd is also slightly better than 5 dex 5str and 5% da rate. The scale between the two comparisons is almost perfectly linear. I was trusting my gut on that one but I appreciate having some numbers to back it up. Thanks for the confirmation.
