There's a ton of ways to go about this but this is probably the simplest.
On topic, the only firearm I own is a very old, broken S&W revolver. I do have a Ka-Bar and a 3,000$ katana from back when I had disposable income though.

Don't you find it rather silly posting a thread about guns just after you Americans have had (yet again) another school massacre killing spree specifically caused by the guns you're trying to glorify in this thread?
---
"I have a Citadel Arms shorty 1911 in .45, Taurus PT-1911 in .45, Hi-Point blowback in 45, Baretta PX4 Storm in 9mm, Springfield XDM in 45, Baretta 92A in 9mm, Taurus PT-140 Millenium series in 40, and a bunch of other pistols.
For shotguns, I have a Charles Daly Field Tactial 12g and a Mossberg 500 12g.
For rifles there is a Colt M4 in 22LR, an FN Scar Light in 5.56, an FN PS-90 in 5.7, and the MSAR STG 556 I bought off my sister.
But my pride and joy is my Guncrafter Industries 50 caliber 1911. Oh how I love that beast. I damn well should... I cost me the majority of an income tax return check."
And all I have to say to that quote is; 'moron'.
they weren't *caused* by the guns they were *caused* by some sick individual deciding to shoot people.

What my Ruger 10/22 is now wearing.
You know what I love about this collection? That "big scary looking "assault rifle"" shoots the exact same bullet exactly as fast as this gun
But one of them is more "feared", because of the media, than the other.
Very nice guns by the way, I love the M&P40

I've got a number of firearms, but my favorite at the moment is a Weatherby Vanguard rifle in 270 WSM with a Leupold scope. It doesn't miss.

Now if you were only extremely wealthy, you could also set up traps for intruders that only family members would have the know-how to survive and/or a universal remote with the ability to entomb/kill them at the touch of a button. One can only dream, as the costs would get outrageous.
Well 1 I dislike fiberglass insulation, ***can't be healthy.
2. I'm sorry I don't feel safe with 2x4's and some siding+dry wall.
3. I'd like some good thick walls for insulation, to save on heating/cooling costs. Also plan to have a roof (depending on where I live at the time) to be white during the summer, black during the winter, the cheapest way would be to have a roll up tarp on the roof, but probably wouldn't look so great tbh. Interior walls being cement wouldn't be suited for insulation. If you've ever seen inside Airport ATC Towers, they have cement walls and still have to be insulated with fiberglass boards. I'd mostly want the cement for sturdyness, I haven't looked into alternative insulation too much but I know there's a few options.
I mean the best would be to create a vacuum in all my exterior walls, and have an airlock entrance, but that's way too extreme.

Agreed! I would also modify it with a dry moat/pit/trap I can capture zombies then light on fire.
Ok anyways...back to topic, atm I just have a S&W 22A w/ 7" barrel. Not the biggest n baddest gun but cheap *** ammo to shoot all day and stock up on. THinking bout maybe another one or a S&W M&P 15-22.

I'd pass on the judge, I mean you wouldn't use a .410 shotgun for self defense would you? With better options available that is. Seems okay for critter control, but I wouldn't use it on a person who was intent on causing me harm. The slugs are meh as well since they cost so much compared to other choices.

The funny thing is the rifle you posted... and my rifle are the same guns lol. Not just the same caliber.
The 10/22 has tons of aftermarket stocks. It's a pretty nice rifle to have.

lol @ your personal firearms. Obama's going to fix that.
It's funny how people think gun control is going to fix everything. Do you really think it's the law biding gun owners causing the problems? Do you really think all the criminals with their illegal guns are going to surrender theirs because the government outlaws them?
Believe what you want. I don't want to have to kill someone, but if they enter my house by force and are not supposed to be there and I see a weapon or they don't comply, I'm drawing on them. If I go for a lethal shot or not is completely up to them at that point. It's easy to say one thing when your house isn't the one that's had multiple attempts at a break in. You never know ones motivation for breaking and entering or state of mind and I'm not willing to risk the life of myself or my wife to find out I should have put them down.

7 guns and 2 bows in my house currently, hold a valid CCW in three states (Mich, Utah, Nevada), and have been to countless courses over the years at all levels of experience. Guess it's easy to see where I stand on this subject.
1981 Colt .357 Python (year I was born, had to buy it)
30-30 Marlin (my first hunting gun I got when I was 10 as a Xmas present)
336 Marlin
7mm Browning A-Bolt
S&W MP 40
Beretta M9
Ruger KT 32
I hunt, I shoot targets to have fun, and I plan on teach my two children how to hunt/shoot as well if they want to learn. I was given my first gun at 10 years old but never allowed to use it without my father around. At the age of 14 I was trusted with it while alone for hunting and target shooting. All children should not be trusted with guns, especially while alone. Each child is different with responsibility -- every parent should know how to figure this out.

Be sure to know your local laws regarding shooting someone with 410 buckshot out of that Judge before you do. Some states and cities consider it maiming even under conditions of self-defense.
I'd personally just keep it loaded with 45 LC at home. Even if they have a vest on, it's going to knock them on their *** if not break a few ribs.

Can't believe the amount of disrespect to you own countries people by making this thread given recent events.
Gloating and stroking each others pride and lust for these instruments of death.
But hey you need to make sure you can blow that kid away that's comes in looking to steal your tv right? And not just kill him. A pistol will do that, you guys are flaunting guns that are above and beyond necessary to just stopping a person.
Sick of hearing this 'guns don't kill people, people do'.
What a pile of crap. How many deaths would of happened if these events happened if the maniac had just a blade?
Fact is guns make any situation much much worse and adds the element of death to some that would sometimes lead to a trip to hospital.
Without guns most massacres couldn't happen or would be extremely difficult to do.
Without guns the general population wouldn't be able to give out death penalties for crimes like breaking and entering.
Without guns a lot of violence just ends with injury and not death.
Not to say death can't happen any other way but why make taking a life as easy as pulling a trigger? No second thought, no second chances.
Also stop making out everyone that owns a gun is going to always 'do the right thing'. The heat of the moment/fearful/adrenaline fueled people make stupid decisions. Only with guns added into the mix, the results are final.
Get this thread locked and respect/morn these defenseless innocent babies who's only crime was to be brought into a world of this young nutter and too easily accessible guns.

You're right. Everyone that owns this gun wants to kill people, likes to kill people, has killed people, and will kill people again. NONE of us enjoy a mastering a technical and difficult skill - safely - for the sheer enjoyment of it. No one here understands that using a firearm in defense of their self, others, or their property is absolutely the last resort. Nope.
Just a bunch of child murderers looking for our next victim.
We also rape women who are in comas, push elderly people down stairs, and poison dogs.
Want to know something? The shooting in Connecticut is tragic, but people are shot and killed every single day, and their deaths are no less tragic for their families and friends.
People also overdose on drugs every single day.
They die in car crashes every single day.
People are stabbed every single day.
People are killed by drunk drivers every single day.
Who are you to even be posting on an internet forum so close on the heels of Amanda Todd? Insensitive ***.
When was the last time you rode in a car? I bet it was mere minutes after a tragic accident. Do you know how easy it is to kill someone in a car? Why take a chance when the results are so final?
Right?
Should everyone own a gun? Nope. Pretty obvious. Should we treat responsible adults like adults, and allow them to do adult things? Yep.

Seriously, how is "let's see how you enjoy a hobby we all share" show any disrespect for anyone? The things people in this thread do with their firearms are absolutely unrelated to what Lanza did in Connecticut, just as you driving to work is absolutely different from a drunk driver running down construction workers on the interstate.
Yes, we operate firearms.

Tbh I can't understand why America doesn't have stricter gun legislation or this whole "Right to bear arms" nonsense but it's their laws and while in place regular people are going to be able justify ownership of a gun as a means of protection.
In my opinion though I can't understand how this extends past a simple revolver, why do people need fully automatic weapons, shotguns and rifles, for hunting? Yep chasing and killing an animal for sport is kind but that's another matter entirely I suppose.
There has already been a video shown of what Australia did after a mass shooting, tighter legislation and since then NO mass shootings, of course in times of recession it would probably be a lot less desirable but I suspect stricter rules on gun ownership will be coming soon,
For now let them enjoy showing off their toys, it's obvious they don't mean anything insulting by it with regards to the recent shootings but I will agree the timing is kinda bad.

I know a lot of foreigners think we have machine guns floating around (maybe it's a stereotype.) but they are heavily regulated and owning one without the right license is very illegal. I don't see gun legislation going anywhere, at least for now. We have the usual people beating war drums trying to get something passed that will fail.
Also the Second Amendment was not made for hunting. When it was written, if you didn't hunt.. you didn't eat.

Never mentioned anything about the 2nd amendment being about hunting, anyway I'm really just commenting as well as I can on the subject which isn't helped by the fact I know very little about American laws and admittedly must be biased on the subject due to growing up in a country with tight gun regulation.
