I watched it with my roommate. We sat on opposite ends of the couch, sobbing silently, not making eye contact with each other.
Cartoon movies. Moving.
I agree, you are all well-adjusted adults.
you're such a mean phillie troll...whahahahabulance!!!!
It's a pretty sad tale about morality, the bonds of family and the human psyche. What happens at the end made an entire room of PhD holding adults cry. Was his paper rejected from PLoS ONE? Oh it was better than that. He set it all ablaze, the sheepskins, his thesis, dissertations, grant proposals to study his theory on electrokinetic properties of the mammalian tectorial membrane... oh and his little sister. Then put all the ashes into a candy tin. Saw Catching Fire today. Pretty gooooood.

You sort of just have to assume "this ***is a lot worse than it looks". Maybe the final movies will do better, since they focus on the rebellion and they have two movies to do it in. I haven't read Mockingjay yet, but I hope the split into 2 movies is justifiable. People bitched pretty hard at Deathly Hallows being split into the camping trip and 'omg final Voldemort fight' films, but that was what the book was. Is there enough substance in Mockingjay to get 2 full length films? Lakshmi.Stepth said: » Ramuh.Austar said: » has two gungnir, leaves them both at 75. smart guy If only...if only. As far as anything literal book->movie, Mockingjay really shouldn't need two movies at all. However, they have a lot of ground to cover that really needed to take place in the first two movies, so it might work.
