If they nerf SAM's dmg output (which would be a mistake if you ask me, but that is neither here nor there) they should totally make it so that SAM could be a realistic tank (possible now, but the gear is o.0). Make Seigan/Third just a TAD more reliable or something of that nature.

One of the biggest reasons that SAM is wanted as a DD endgame wise is due to the fact that between its various JA, it can do tons of ws (and therefore damage) in a short period of time, and is capable of both light and dark.

ANYHOW.

BLM could use something shiny to play with, Aspir II sounds like a good idea. I'd pay merits for that ***.

Basically Northern areas and campaign bodies, and some Union thing.

__________________________________________________________________________

Campaign Gets Reinforcements! (06/15/2009)The upcoming version update will see exciting developments in Campaign, including the opening of new areas, the introduction of the "Union" system, and a host of other additions and refinements.

The Battlefront Moves North!
The following areas will become potential sites for future Campaign conflicts:
Beaucedine Glacier (S) / Xarcabard (S)

User submitted image

New Campaign Medals!
Currently, the highest decoration players may be awarded through evaluation is the coveted "Wings of Honor." With the new version update, two yet more prestigious distinctions will be unlocked, and the corresponding equipment—including body armors for each nation—will be added to the items obtainable with Allied Notes.

All for One and One for All! Introducing the "Union" System
Building upon the existing parties and alliances, the new version update will allow players to form larger battle regiments known as "Unions." By joining a Union, players may take part in Campaign operations on an expanded scale and receive a wide assortment of battle spoils for successful efforts.

To join a Union, a player need only seek out a Campaign Arbiter while in possession of Allied Tags. Any Campaign Arbiter will heed your request, regardless of nation affiliation.

Great riches await triumphant Unions, including but not limited to the ancient currencies obtainable in Dynamis, a wide assortment of synthesis materials, and the spoils of vanquished Beastman Confederate captains. Such rewards will be distributed via Union treasure caskets after the conclusion of each battle.

Scavengers be forewarned! Those who sit back on the sidelines to let their allies do the dirty work will find themselves denied their share of the spoils. Soldiers must make sufficient contribution to the cause to be eligible to reap the rewards.

I just like more areas for us to attack.
But the question is...will all nations be able to attack it? All of the Shadow fiends can attack just about any area, would be interesting watching Sandy and Windy attacking the same forts.

It's ridiculous, really. If any area is under beastmen control, it's empty. Up to the NPCs to take it back.

I still campaign often, so I'm good, lol.
Not to mention I switched from Sandy to Bastok like 3 times back and forth, so I had to make up all the medals again.

OMG just run, man, just run!!!

Seriously, wouldn't it be *** up if you zoned into the past and your general instantly appeared with some guards to take you into custody and strip you of your medals for being AWOL?

Well, either *** up or totally awesome...

Anyways, I'm really excited about the body pieces finally being released for the WotG gear, but shudder to think what it's gonna cost me, as I need to get mine from Windy at the "out of towner" rate...and still have 2 pieces of the Cobra Cap set to buy not even counting the body >.<

I'm sure added sources of currency are going to affect the overall price of currency, and in the long run, the total cost of a relic. But I wouldn't expect an overnight change or anything...

LOL HATER!!!

But seriously, I am a Samurai and even I dont want to see them get anything new, I think its time for SE to focus on other jobs Instead. But really how much updating do you really want with the new FFXIV coming out in like a year.

I am sure SE will make this game completely stupid before the release so people quit and join the new FFXIV

I've found if you just put off getting evaluation they wont take away till then :) so you only lose 1 at a time
