The sensible solution for any ninja wanting a quick accuracy solution (for dynamis specifically) is to just get the hq1 version while saving up for the su5 variant. Then sell it back.
+1 to this suggestion ^^

Then sell it back. +1 to this suggestion ^^ It's too bad that the augs can't be wiped I would still just go for a pellucid max acc kanaria instead of getting stuck holding a 20m katana that's now worth 1m
50 acc vs 40 acc(and maybe some dex) With all the talk about Hi was wondering if Ilabrat/regal > begrudging?
ItemSet 356171 My set lacks alot of crit rate so I really only use it when I'm not tanking and get to use Innin, could probably switch to rancor neck but I just still have nef+1 in from when I was using begrudge Herc body and hands are 10% wsd w/ some att/acc feet are 7% Old set was nef+1 neck regal ring and begrudge ring instead of ilabrat Carbuncle.Lunatone said: » With all the talk about Hi was wondering if Ilabrat/regal > begrudging? Which is why I use Rancor Collar myself. But then again the JSE neck +2 has DEX/AGI mods no? So that's even better than Rancor Collar. With your setup where you have a single Mummu+2 piece, then Mummu Ring might beat Ilabrat. It's 2 less AGI/Dex and less Att, but 3% more Crit? I dunno, probably won't beat neither Ilabrat nor Regal, but worth testing on a spreadsheet to be sure. I completely forgot about the nin neck lol, I'll prob just put in spreadsheet later just been lazy about it
Also I might be wrong and hopefully someone will correct me, but I think that when you're at really really really low buffs (like literally nothing) then Proccing a crit on Blade: hi (or increasing the chance of that to happen) should produce better average numbers on the long run than directly boosting the base damage (WSD) of the WS itself. So basically Crit rate > WSD
The more buffs you have (the closest you are to PDIF) the more the opposite happens (WSD >>>> Crit rate) The point where this happens I dunno, I think very very very early. Also it still depends on the amounts of each stat. 10% WSD is huge, I can't think of a single piece with that much Crit Rate, let alone more than that. You might want to check that on the Spreadsheet as well. I'm confident 10% WSD Herc will win over Mummu+2. Probably the 7% piece as well but... doublecheck on that. Especially because in addition of Crit Rate, Mummu has unusually high AGI, much higher than your tipical Herc. (don't forget to factor the set bonus as well, since you're gonna equip legs regardless) Edit: Did a small test and yes, surprisingly enough Mummu+2 wins in most slot, even over Hachiya+3 and Herc 10% WSD. Barely so, but it does. For that to happen I literally had to remove every single buff related to Att+ or Def down though. So... not a very realistic situation, probably? So in that set w/ nin neck +1 getting mummu + regal beating regal/ila and mummu feet beating the 7% aug on apex mobs w/ RDM + BRD dia III 2 min 1 march haste II
Mummu body also beating the 10% herc but not getting mummu winning over hachi head +3 Depends on which other augs you have on those feet. Sounds a bit strange Mummu+2 are beating them, with the buffs you listed, but totally possible though sooo, yeah :D
7% WSD 5acc/att, assuming its the set bonus agi thats pushing it up so much, this is also w/ Innin up
edit: @max buffs getting 10% herc winning but mummu feet/legs and ring still top Offline

From what I remember a long while ago when Mummu was new the feet were the strongest piece of +2 for Hi

But when I put absolutely every buff in the game on myself and had the target defense crippled to ***Herc body 10% won way hard but mummu +2 feet were still winning. Mummu head didnt win in any scenario and I never changed ring out back to ilabrat after buffs. Earring though Tpshade lost to both brutal and ishvara, and for w/e reason I get caudata doing really well w/ low buffs but then windbuff is still winning with better buffs ItemSet 356171
Updated set, since normally unless you're solo you wont have lower tier buffs like that anyway but Herc body--Vit11 Acc/att13 WSD10% Herc Hands--CHR10 WSD10% Andartia--AGI30 WSD10 att/acc20 DT-5 I guess Begrudging/Mummu combo would be better with really low buffs didnt try it out, but mummu ring set bonus is doing really well for AGI edit: too lazy to change but belt should be windbuffet +1, comes in at 17913 w/ Svelt +1 @ 17783 Lakshmi.Buukki

Why are you using Caudata?

or https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Grunfeld_Rope or fotia Do mummu kecks really beat relic legs? Relic legs have a ton of attack power too Lakshmi.Buukki said: » Why are you using Caudata? Its coming second after windbuffet +1 Fotia beats grunfield Eh fotia belts are essentially 100% drops and up 100% of the time, if its better its not too much effort to go bang that out.
Synergy on the other hand, man that addon makes that so much better. (and sense it was mentioned, I'll try to find the post about it, someone will certainly ask) Asura.Eiryl said: » Synergy on the other hand, man that addon makes that so much better. You can just blast it out by mashing feed at double(triple?) normal speed.

I'm tired of hearing "takes too long" or " I'm just lazy" when it comes to fotia or moonshade. They are literally two(three) of the greatest items you can have for ws sets. So yourself a huge favor and make one. You will not ever regret it.
Wotg is such a terrible storyline the cutscenes are like 30 *** minutes (not really) I don't really hold it against anyone not doing that ***.
The sheer number of times you have to just exit enter exit enter talk to rolant talk to rolant again talk to rolant AGAIN talk to rolant AGAIN! game day wait. talk to rolant, zone, game day wait! *gross* Lakshmi.Buukki

I'm not a third party head, but I'm positive there's at least 3 addons you can use to literally skip past all of that jazz after few clicks. There's a ton of walking but the reward is great
Now, mog gardens..... Just no... I won't be getting an HQ ring because that garbage is just garbage.... Well, fastcs doesnt really speed it up that much, neither does enternity. Just a few seconds (it does add up, yes) Nothing negates game day waits.
Though cair made that addon to straight skip all the *** and just flag missions as over... but that's "gone" now. 30 minutes of Robel Akbel making 50 birds roast? Sign me up!
Just redid all the WOTG mission for my mule a few months ago, both for RoV and the earring. Much prefer that than drugging Phuabos for their kidneys Lakshmi.Buukki

pretty sure phuabo is the easiest organs to get. Just summon Nanaa Mihgo and she'll despoil them. If you're thf, you both can take turns, and you can cancel her/resummon to reset her timer. If it's an Om'Phuabo, drop rate is higher (or 100%). That's the last organ you need to be worried about. Aern/Xzomit is the royal pita.
xzomit are 100% from the pack leaders

That being said, I guess you have a point since WotG is the only mission line I STILL haven't finished on my alt/mule, pretty much entirely due to the annoying running around (that character is support/mage onry, so the lack of TP bonus doesn't stress me much). Also, I did WotG as it released back at 75 cap so didn't get a chance to get too burnt out by doing it all at once. Still, Moonshade is good enough that it's kinda worth the hassle. Also, nobody actually said they didn't want to deal with acquiring Moonshade anyway, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Leviathan.Kozumi said: » https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Svelt._Gouriz_%2B1 or https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Grunfeld_Rope or fotia Do mummu kecks really beat relic legs? Relic legs have a ton of attack power too Mochizuki +3 legs generally win, but Mummu+2 are a pretty solid second (and they're what I used for quite a while as a perfectly serviceable alternative while waiting for Dynamis materials to drop in price). It wouldn't shock me to see some scenario where Mummu+2 might spreadsheet better, but more often than not the relic+3 will win. Now, as you noted, relic have a ton of attack so they gain quite a lot if you're ever uncapped attack, in which case they're best legs by a pretty significant margin. I think that alone is reason to go with Mochi+3 as your default choice (blah, blah, something about everyone assuming always capped acc/atk even though that's ridiculous). Windbuffet+1 for Blade: Hi waist (as Luna also mentioned) Rings for Hi are really dependent on target/buffs. Any of Regal, Begrudging, Mummu, Ilabrat, Epaminondas are legitimate possibilities. If you wanted to commit to just one set of those, Regal/Mummu is probably the pair most consistently at or near the top across a variety of circumstances, so I think Luna's choices make sense. I personally don't have Regal, so I go Mummu/Ilabrat as my default. Carbuncle.Lunatone said: » With all the talk about Hi I'm going to have to give you a bit of a hard time, because YOU USE KIKOKU why u even care?? XD I sorta joke, but seriously, for Kikoku users Metsu replaces Hi for the majority of practical Darkness SCs (aside from needing Hi for a small number of Gravitation-required SCs). I mean, I get it, you might as well gear your best for any situation... but for Kikoku mainhand in particular, Hi is just such a niche WS that I wouldn't sweat minor adjustment to your WS set too much. Now, for Kannagi... different story. And even other non-Kikoku mainhands at least have more potential SC use for Hi since they don't get Phoenix.Capuchin said: » Also, nobody actually said they didn't want to deal with acquiring Moonshade anyway, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I made mention of it, like 6 hours ago, but not in that context. Not that they understand the difference, even after pointing it out... tangent; it gets really *** old having to spell everything out in literal terms just so that one guy can't go "oh but this thing you said when you said it that one time" |
