Slippery Silas

So has anyone done any real testing on this jug pet?
I took him out as a joke the other night to Titlacauan just to see how he stacks up and his attack is pretty pathetic compared to the other jugs however he never fell below 75% health and regened to full during the fight, it seemed to have increased PDT and MDT to all magic and abilities used (Fire).
On top of this it tanked the entire fight because our person playing on MNK (only other front line there) got hit by death at the start.
So I was somewhat shocked and dumbfounded, has anyone noticed any patterns like this with the lower level jug pets in abyssea?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'lower level' (equippable level?), but slippery silas spawns up to level 99, and was added fairly recently. There aren't any other uncapped jugs equippable at low levels.

He definitely has a fair amount of MDB, which you may find some niche uses for, but his damage output and max hp are terrible.

I played with him a few times. He has over 3k hp and if he follows the normal mob type has very high mdb and possibly imunity to light dmg(been meaning test this in Brenner). Unfortunately being smn he has no offensive traits except a relatively low attack delay. His best use seem to be as a Dot pet adding dmg to a bst especially outside aby as a cheap throw away jug doing pages or maybe trials. Inside Aby he can be ok if not doing anything to major. Would really help if he had some kind of tp moves or (what im still waiting for what charmed hecteyes can do) is have ready/sic cause it to cast spells.
