Once again, what floors were they on, what was the dat order and what was the actual order?
Theres no point dismissing the possibility of a pattern. I was laughed at by "the elite group" when I suggested that abyssea magic procs cant be a random list of 150 spells (before we knew which 8x8 they were, when "I swear I proced it with AM2, I swear frost did it, I swear Tachi:Gekko did it"), and turns out, it wasnt random at all. Its possible that it is random, but theres no harm at all gathering some data for now to see.
Or you can be Nyzul god and clear every run every time with 10 minutes to spare...
<W< you really think they're going to make lamps into a pattern after knowing, for a long time none the less, of people abusing lamp dats to the advantage of selling gear or getting 15/15 in a very short time period? The last order I remember we had the lamps ordered in order, so 1 2 3 4, and the actual order was 2, 3 , 1 , 4

It's funny how this update just said "Oh hey old gear...I remember and loved you. How bout I give you purpose again?". So we have like updated Zahak mail, emperor pin, brig (love that checker board lol), and I'm sure there are others. As well as that N sash model evade/haste piece that is kinda nice. I kinda like that SE did that here.

I want them to re-use more Near Eastern gear, personally. I've always really liked those designs. They had re-used the Jaridah Peti model at one point but given how mediocre the gear is it kind of defeats the point. I'd like to see that model, along with some other stuff like Amir, Pahluwan and Yigit again. Though I guess since Neo-Salvage is coming along so we'll so see the Salvage models again most likely, at least.
It's true that Nyzul Uncharted is very clear-able even without editing the lamps, but I just think it's kind of inherently bad design if a single type of floor can potentially have a negative impact to the point where it screws your entire run, even if it only happens 5% of the time.
It's not even the concept of the order floors that screws you, it's the fact that you need to wait something like 30 seconds for the order lamps to check your order, deactivate, and then be ready for toggling again. At least on same-time lamps it makes some sense because it's basically punishing you for not exploring the whole floor before attempting it.

I think people tend to forget this part. It's like, really good gear, y'all.

Oh yea, definitely still winnable. Probably will cause some losses for the group I do it with though. I mean, I'm sure not everyone has a 1/4 win rate >,>. we've done 4 tags the last 4 Thursdays and have no win yet. We did make it to floor 100 once but timed out on boss at 30%. The DNC in the group has been working on DRK for a while and finally got all his merits/gear/OaT finished and he brought it to the run last Thursday. We made it to 94 once and 99 on the 4th run. The 94 run sucked, 6x 2 floor jumps and floor 60 boss with WS restriction.
I was going as SAM but just finished this Ragnarok and should have it 95 by out next run. Just kind of sucks because our group is no where near perfect. I find on lamp floors we all seem to talk to much trying to communicate and then a little confusion can happen due to people talking over each other >,>. Trying to find the correct order isn't going to help the situation lol.

Secondly, people were getting "15/15 in a short time period" because they were running at 300% through walls, the dat mods obviously help too, but in an event where you lose probably 10-12 minutes just running around from target to target, cutting that loss down to 2 is a huge difference, much more than you save from dat swapping code lamps.
so back to tracking data: what floor were you on when the order of 1234 went to 2314?

It doesn't seem like it belongs in patch notes really, it doesn't effect players that aren't explicitly violating TOS. I guess it would allow JPs to fap to it, though.
@Bojack:
Not EVERYONE is supposed to have an amazing win rate. It is meant to be challenging content, where the most organized and well-equipped players will do best. If you flail around horribly on lamp floors, you probably are meant to work on your organization while doing floor 80 stopper runs(in SE's eyes). Just because you enter the zone doesn't give you any sort of right to winning.

Thing is they annouced last time there was a patch this nerf was coming. How they are aware there was nyzle "bugs"
Hell there was even a thread on here if I am not mistaken where people were complaining back then.
Good groups are still going to win nyzle, fact of he matter is it isn't going to be as frequent.
Huge luck involved on winning.... to a degree....
but then getting those byakko haidates back at lvl 75 cap was not luck either? because they were 100% drop from byakko.
amirite?

Only SE could make an aspect of the game that's already months old like NIU usurp the actual meat of this content: Meeble Burrows.
Hats off to the developers.

Regardless how people want to look at the .dat issue, SE a while back did mention ways to "fix the exploit" and this seems to have happened this time around. It doesn't break the game. (Unless it truly was the reason for the crashes. lawls) It's high time to face the facts and just play the game.

I just want the random crashes to stop.... They could make lamps generated every single time a floor spawns and certain people would still clear and certain people wouldn't.
years ago it was crimson pants is cheating, windowers cheating, "not everyone levels more than one job", "not everyone can bring a mage", etc etc. Mediocre people will always find a crutch to blame for why they can't do and others can.
If you really think all of the groups who've cleared NNI use clipper and swap lamps you should probably go check out wow or at least go do some NQ ni to get up to speed.

While I haven't done NNI in a while, the only random crashes we suffered weren't random at all. Being within sight distance of the Runic Portal upon defeat of the final Qiqirn on a "Specified Enemy" would cause us to crash.
I don't know if this bug is known by the player base at large yet, figured I might drop a line here for those who didn't know about it yet. This bug being unrelated to platform or using .dats or not.

To my understanding crashes were occuring in all types of zones from all types of players.
I crashed doing salvage on sch, and i have absolutely nothing fishy (except uh xiview but if you consider that cheating....)

Meh just made doing NNI runs for my LS mates harder that's all. I'm already 15/15 so it doesn't really even effect me, and chances are anyone who was abusing the secret ninja magic is already at 15/15. So this really only hurts people who were sitting as the pole SCH and letting their friends help them get floor 100 gear.
Will have to experiment with it later, with lamps it's usually the mobs standing near by the tend to cause the *event interrupted* mos *event interrupted* st prob *event interrupted* lems.
/Goodbye 20s order lamp floors.

Event-related
Meeble Burrows—all new dungeon content—has been added to the game.

Meeble Burrows is all-new dungeon content in which intrepid players sneak into underground caves and participate in various research expeditions, delving ever farther until they best the dreadful beasts in the far recesses of the caverns.
* The Wings of the Goddess expansion is required to venture into Meeble Burrows.
Eligibility- Parties must be comprised of between three and six players.
- There is no level restriction.
- There is a time limit of fifteen minutes.
Preparing for your trekCommencing a Research Expedition- Trade your grimoire to the Burrow Researcher NPC in Sauromugue Champaign (J-7) and have the party leader select the desired research expedition.
- Speaking to Vrednev, a Meeble located outside the burrows, will commence the expedition and enable you to enter.
- Achieving Goals
- Exploring Meeble Burrows is not about wiping out everything in sight. Instead, each expedition contains a series of three goals to achieve.
- Clearing an expedition involves achieving at least one of the pre-established goals.
- Of course, more goals completed means better rewards, so don’t slack off just because you’ve gone partway!
* Even if you have fulfilled the conditions for a particular goal, you will not be considered to have cleared it until you use the specially-provided escape item to leave the depths of the burrows.
* The Speleological Handbook located within the burrows provides spelunkers with a wealth of information, including the research tasks at hand and boons given by grimoires.
Completing an expedition- After completing an expedition, players will receive a Terminus Whistle: a temporary item that teleports the party to the entrance.
- The dangers of the Meeble Burrows are many, so explorers setting foot inside will receive a Hiatus Whistle, a temporary item that whisks them to the entrance with one sharp call. Take heed, for this will end your current expedition!
- After escaping via the Terminus Whistle, talk to the Burrow Researcher once more. He will confirm that you have completed the assigned tasks, and record the details thereof.
The Burrow Researcher has multiple tasks to offer able adventurers, and completion of one may open up other, more taxing expeditions. In addition, successfully completing goals will add a variety of boons to the player’s grimoire.
Rewards - Inquests into the burrows allow for more than just insight into Meeble society, offering players the opportunity to accrue a special currency known as “research marks.” These research marks represent the goodwill one has earned with the Meeble Burrows Exploration Committee, and can be exchanged to purchase items or grimoires from the Burrow Investigator and Burrow Researcher.
