Not sure which island exactly, think either byakko or genbu side. But each island has its own set of elements.

also on a side note, it is always light weather in nyzul and in limbus, so those 2 places do have a higher light geode yield

as for the elemental pats, yes, sky is probably the best place because those elementals aren't weather dependent. i believe it's the island to the left of the first one. there are dark and light on the same island

Do the mobs in Limbus even drop geodes? And nyzul isnt really that reliable for geode farming.
